So out of the people who have "retired" who do you think we will see back in the cage soonest?

From the way DFW has been talking recently, i'd say Khabib. Could get his final 30-0 fight in before Ramadan in April.

Probably Khabib or Jones. Cejudo fucked up and ruined all his momentum. He dosen't have the controversy like Jon does to be able to stay in headlines after vacating a belt. And unless he starts hurting for money I don't see cejudo signing on to fight contenders again so feel like he's the least likely to get a great big fight offer to get him scheduled on the books.

Khabib is the only one the ufc cares about that much then Jone and lastly Cejudo.

I'll say Jones. I think even if Khabib fights again it likely won't be for close to a year at least. I don't think Cejudo will fight again, he seems to only want big fights and I get the feeling the UFC doesn't see him as big enough of a draw to give him those opportunities.

I'm also going to go with Jones. With both him and Cejudo it's pretty obvious that their "retirement" is a negotiation ploy, and since Jones actually moves the needle, it's much more likely that the ufc will pay him to fight sooner.

Jones didn't retire, he gave up his belt to move up. He's posting everyday about lifting and how he's 240 lbs now and will be ready in a couple months. He'll fight first.

Logic would suggest Jones, but then again logic isn't too common in UFC.

Jones - he needs the money, both of his biggest challenges and worst matchups (Santos/Reyes) are coming off losses so he can avoid them, he can get an easier fight with Jan or move up to HW for a big payday with no risk

Cedudo - he wants more money, can go to BW or FW and likely get an immediate title shot in either division

Khabib - he doesnt need any money, has already cleaned out the division (except for the cursed Fergeson fight) and seems like he does not want to give McGregor another change. Will likely only come back if Fergy or Chandler becomes champ, for a fresh matchup

So I would say Jones, Cedudo than Khabib in that order

GSP retired at about 38. To call that age the prime for the average fighter would be a serious stretch. Khabib is about 32 I think. We'll see if he comes back, and when.

Jones should be the next one to fight. I'm not convinced of what weight he fights at though. I'm leaning towards 205. Or at least I don't expect him to fight Stipe/Ngannou next.

Is Cejudo even in the testing pool?

I have a better idea. Do them on separate cards, put a WMMA fight as the comain and a couple prospects on the rest of the main card, then a journeyman fight to headline the prelim.

All 3 are unlikely for near future. Time favors Khabib in this, as it's more up to him than the promotion like with the other 2.

Cejudo could change his mind anytime about FW and come back to one of his divisions. But Dana kinda shrugs that off whenever asked.

If Jones at HW is real this time then they're waiting for Stipe to announce when he's back (said he's training) to rematch Big Frank, with Jones challenging the winner. But Jones wants to get paid, didn't get it last time, so a lot of moving pieces. Also with the Jan/Izzy fight, despite Jones' disinterest.

Cejudo is going to fight before all of them. Jones 2nd. Khabib 3rd.

Jones is def moving to HW if you see his recent pic, he'd cut some serious weight to make 205 again

GSP retired for a long time after Hendricks, I dont see Khabib retires for like 4 years at all

Jon didn't retire. He vacated his title and moving to HW. He's literally posting himself power lifting and adding weight in preparation everyday.

Between Cejudo and Khabib I think we'll see Khabib first.

Jones. I think Cejudo and Nurmagomedov are really finished with MMA.

Jones will fight first. I think Khabib will come back for the GSP fight probably after Ramadan.
