Other fighter cuts that just plain don't make sense/piss you off

Okami's twitter isn't verified and he never posts anything so don't listen to that guy. We don't even know if it's Okami's official twitter.

Just to prove it means nothing look at Facebook. Leonard Garcia has 5137 likes and Okami has 7756

So...he either has 597 followers, or he doesn't even have an account....yeah, not having an account is a better lol. either way, fans aren't clamoring to stay informed on yushin.

You can do a google trends on their names too. Trust me, okami is not on anyones radar.

Pick any other top 10 fighter and look at the social media likes, followers, etc....okami is no where near their popularity.

Even though Yushins facebook's stats counter my own social media point in Leoanard vs Yushin, but the fact that he only have 7800 likes just proves the point of why he got cut.

Pablo Garza.... finished the majority of his fights, looked fantastic against Hominick, then lost to an aggressive Brandao in the 1st... and was cut. WTF.

Another good example. He had a Flying Knee KO and Flying triangle sub win both in the UFC. Beat Hominick. It sucked to see him go

Yeah that was pretty bad to cut the No 2 guy in the division.

What pisses me off about it is that it was nothing other than politics. It's one thing to bounce a boring Fitch, or go full YOLO and get rid of a stall-pattern Okami.

But to let a top guy go over backstage politics for your own pocket? I wouldn't trust the Fertittas or Dana with my laundry, let alone my career and well being.

They'd apparently wanted rid of him for a while, then he went and sported some unwise sponsor logos. A rival casino or something I think. Didn't work out well for Nate Quarry either, who took the title shot that Lindland was lined up for.

Paul Daley needs a 2nd chance what he did was low but a big fine & a suspension could of been punishment enough

It was very f*cked up.

I didn't particularly care for Lindland, but he was the No 2 guy.

The issue with the Okami cut, isnt just that he is good.

This issue is that anyone with an IQ over 100 can see its been done to rig the sport.

Is MMA fake, like WWEs fake? No.

Is it rigged?

Lets see, - they are told how to fight, cut if they dont fight to UFCs creative demands, and judged on their shit talk and twitter interest.

BJJ, MT and WRESTLING all have a place in the mixed martial arts.

Trash talking and twitter whoring are not martial arts.

Kimbo is hitting 200k on twitter.

Fedor is just over half that.

Okami was a buffer against this bullshit, so they cut him.

Not for money, not for ranking, but to remove a "gate keeper".

Okami was a doorman stopping the hype from meeting the stomp.

The fights arent rigged.

But the sport is.

Rigged, is rigged.

Fans complain about the UFC taking all the talent from smaller orgs and believe its creating a monopoly in MMA yet dont want any fighters cut from the UFC period.

Top 10ers. No.

Its makes no sense under a sporting structure.

"Were a real sport."

"Were the superbowl of MMA"

"the best fighters in the world"

I always feel like Vagner Rocha got a raw deal. He fights Cerrone to a decision, chokes out Mackenzie, get's finished by Johnathan Brookins and he's kicked out while Mckenzie had a more lackluster run at the time.
