OT - John Stover = dumbest man alive?

With all the controversy around Tommy Morrisons HIV tests, and with his former agent comming out and saying Morrison has been using fake HIV tests to obtain fights John Stover had this to say about fighting him tonight.

"I don't know what to do other than believe them, because why would they lie to me, especially about something like that?"

I think i am guilty of something similar to this, like we probably all are, so maybe we shouldnt be so hard on Morrison?

You couldn't pay me to fight a guy with aids. Money is awesome, but I value my life much more that. I wouldn't risk it, no matter how small the odds of getting aids from blood to blood contact are.

I don't know. Stover made a valid point in mentioning the criminal aspect of Morrison hiding his HIV - it's wouldn't just be a bannable offence, but a felony to expose someone else to the risk of infection. I don't believe anyone - even a washed-up boxer - would be stupid enough to risk major jail time for the sake of one fight purse. IMO Morrison absolutely believes he is clean. As to whether he's right in that belief...

Yeah but i think i still have to go with the HIV+ blood tests as well as Morrisons old agent saying the HIV- tests were faked over Big John Stover from South Dakotas reasoning here. Also, didnt Morrison not get a license to fight a boxing match because he didnt get his bloodwork into the commision in time? That just seems fishy to me, you are trying to make a comeback and prove you are HIV- and you cant get yoru blood results in on time?

I hate promoters like this, just feeding off the popularity of MMA. The rules were first modified to allow no groundfighting. Then last minute, they changed the rules to allow no knees, elbows, or kicks. So it was a backyard boxing match with 4oz gloves.

Stover must be one broke motherfucker to take this fight with Morrison. A boxing match with 4oz gloves vs a ex boxing champ who may or may not be HIV+? I think i should remove the question mark from my thread title.

You probably take a greater risk for free every time you shag some random chic, even with a condom. Assuming you are a typical male and do shag random chics. And just knowing her doesn't make her any less random unless you have seen tests.

This makes zero sense. You are saying having sex with a random girl WHILE using a condom is higher risk for HIV infection than from fighting someone who has tested HIV+? I think ill stick to barebackin whores before i fight someone who tested HIV+.
