When I see fighters that are just happy to be there and not visibly hiungry for the win or the fight itself it makes me think they are just happy to compete and its not about the win. Then again Fedor seems like this too and hes the goat so what do I know. Anyone else feel the same way about osp.

I really hope he presses Jones, at least make it competitive.

He's got the size and reach and power that most of Jones' past opponents didn't have.

I get that vibe too TS. But maybe he'll come out with a nothing-to-lose attitude and put Jon in some tough situations. I'm kind of expecting a one-sided beat down though.

He's a short-notice replacement for a title fight when he is 2-3 wins away from a legit shot at it. He has nothing to lose, and it's not even the real belt. He is taking the right approach by staying cool and unphased and just taking what he can get out of the situation.

He's always been quiet & reserved. Watch his fights in Strikeforce.

That being said Jones beats him with ease. Jones is on another level with the added muscle and power.

that is what people were saying about Nate before his last fight with Conor

OSP is about the same size as Glover and Bader. He had a couple inches more reach than them, but that's it. His size is nothing Jones hasn't regularly seen before.

Honestly I don't think it matters either way. Any version of OSP is Jones easiest fight since Chael.

I'm also happy with him just being there and taking a brutal, one sided beatdown that just makes Jones looks like a God. Who cares about him. I certainly don't want him to cause the upset and win, that will just derail Jones unnecessarily when he's destined for much greater things.

OSP is just a tool for Jones right now, just a punching bag for Jones to get rid of his ring rust. Honestly? He should get fined if he even lands a punch on Jones.
