Tito is an old 40 and Sonnen is not far behind him. Who wins and why?

Tito performs poorly against southpaws and high calibre wrestlers. Sonnen is both. However; Sonnen performes poorly at 205 where he doesn't have a size advantage. He also gives up takedowns and positioning late in fights due to fatigue. Tito usually comes in good shape but is prone to injuries. A close fight with a bit of a back story.

Sonnen was performing at a higher calibre when he retired, but Tito has been more active lately, so it's kind of a toss up for me. I say Sonnen by gnp or guillotine.

I can see Chael rolling over but I don't get the Tito quitting on here. Refresh my memory

are you kidding me
?

Tito cannot move his neck just watch how he moves backwards and forwards it's so robotic it's actually pretty comical

Sonen via neck punch

Chael might need a sub,and I only say that because he doesn't do great against bigger wrestlers. Tito does well against smaller guys....but chael is a better fighter....I dunno. I look forward to it a great deal

Tito always seems to surprise. Should be interesting so I'll pick Tito via sub (guillotine).

I'll take Sonnen with either a decision or late round finish.

I'm actually leaning the other way towards Tito as an underdog at +130 or better. Chael is fighting above his preferred weight class so Tito has the size advantage and more recent fights. Of course his injury prone body is always a wild card. He looks in great shape on his Instagram however- see below. Chael's three year long layoff is a major concern. His wrestling is probably better than Tito's but Tito has more power in his strikes and better submissions in my opinion. Tito also announced this as his retirement fight and will be very motivated to go out on top. With a fight like this I can see it going either way, so I'd sooner take the bigger guy with more ways to win and who has been more active.

How does a 40 year old man manage that 20 pound cut?!

He fell apart late in the third rounds against Nate,

Against Bisping and Nate the Great. Those come to mind. Could be wrong though.
I don't think so... In the Nate fight he was controlling the whole time. In the Bisping fight, Michael had some cage control but no takedowns or anything.

Tito is a corpse at this point. The guy is so shot, slow and old that is not even funny.

Chael via having more body functions.

Bisping got a takedown late in the third. I'm sure Nate got on top of him late in the third too. Nate got on top off of a sweep after he nearly got a guillotine.
