Orlando just posted a photo on his FB with him hanging out with and riding with Mongols outlaw motorcycle club. Is this the kind of image GB and Shoyoroll want to be affiliated with?

Ahh...you realize A LOT of guys who train in Southern California ride.

There's 1%ers in a lot of San Diego and Hawaii gyms. Means nothing at all.

I train and ride also... doesn't mean I'm gonna be going out with an outlaw motorcycle gang. Just because I listen to hip hop doesn't mean I'm kicking it with Bloods or Crips in my off time.

Riding with them means nothing (I'm sure you know how 1%ers work). I doubt GB or Shoyoroll would care nor should they unless he, himself, is wearing rockers.

You mean an advantage from the double guard pull?
It has changed a lot of matches.
You can also regain the advantage with a fake toe hold attempt.
I have seen few stalling calls at the ADCC it seems to be very ref dependent.
In the IBJJF they have a ref cabal of sorts in the ADCC it just seems to be a bunch of random people.

Maybe he'll learn some submissions for ADCC 2017.

    OTM, of course
Even if he is wearing rockers, who GAF. The mongols don't have the same public image that they did in the 70's-early 90's. None of the Clubs do anymore besides the start ups who are trying to make a name for themselves.

a lot of fights today would have been better if there were no penalty for pulling guard
    and Orland wouldn't have won

I'm sitting here thinking that yes he won a very shallow division, yes he won with points only, stalling and a lack of submissions, but in the end no one could tap him or beat him. He's boring as fuck, I never want to watch him fight ever, but he's won a gold medal at ADCC which very few people could do. As much as I don't want to, I've got to give him some credit.

I definitely give him props. Plus, we needed a new age Mark Kerr type wrestler in ADCC.

Totally agree. I'll be the first to admit that I can be very sarcastic in my posts about high level grapplers. I don't prefer his style but it works for him so at the end of the day I can't take that away from him.

I'm also mostly kidding as well. He's basically just a heavyweight version of me and my matches play out similar, except with more guard passing.

I think the worst part of the current Orlando Sanchez is that his gas tank is apparently better...which means he can impose his will longer and more efficiently. Problem for me is at the end of the day we still end up with the same result. He out-wrestles guys (yes even the really good ones) and the matches end up boring for me at least as a spectator.
