In the promo for the Siver fight Conor talks about his warrior ancestors so I took it upon myself to look up the name Mcgregor. The Mcgregor surname comes from members of the Scottish Clan Gregor. The Clan Gregor's crest is a lion wearing a crown with the words "RIOGHAL MO DHREAM" which translates to "my blood is royal". The origin can be traced back to Griogair, son of the eigth century King Alpin of Scotland.

So don't blame Conor for his talk. The King is simply assuming his rightful place on the throne.

Seems legit.

I wonder if they beheaded people who offended the king back then? They probably did... probably took their heads clean off.

Only a fool would doubt his claim. Seriously though that sounds cool, although I could claim something similar in my native country and it doesn't do anything for me, but then again I'm not the GOAT..

Now that was a beautiful thing.

lots of scotch-irish people could claim the same thing.
