anyone got this or played it?

i finished it the other day and thought it was a cracking platformer

well worth the admission fee and i will go through it again

I recently got this on Steam. Finished the Ginsu tree today. That escape sequence took me like a thousand tries. Great game so far. What are some other similar games on Steam?

Honestly one of the best games of the year so far IMO. Great exclusive for Xbox One.

My roommate bought it so i have been doing a play through on his Xbox, i haven't beaten it yet but am very far into the game i feel. Great platforming, amazing art design and sound design. Definitely challenging at times as well.

I'll probably still buy it for myself this Friday and beat it again. Its that good.

Just watched the review and it reminds me of Rayman Legends which Im playing and loving right now so I'll definitely pick this one up

More of a straight up super metroid style game, but still extremely enjoyable:
Axiom Verge.
Lots of really cool weapons that effect the world in interesting ways, and it controls great.

There's Dust like Jefferz said, and if you haven't played it already, you should probably get Guacamelee. Some of the optional challenges get ridiculously hard, but it's a fantastic game.

I won a code, its a great game. Definitely worth picking up. Pretty difficult at times too.

I loved this game til I got to that damn Ginso Tree
That shit beat me into submission
I tried for weeks to get outta that tree before I finally gave up and quit the game
Really wish I coulda saw the rest of the game though cause up until that point the game was so awesome

I have it on Steam. Need to get involved. Great looking game though.

I feel you. You have to just grab some beers, sit back, and keep plugging. It's a lot like when I came up against the Capra Demon in Dark Souls. Eventually it clicks. And once it does, it's amazing.

By the way, I'm now finding that the game sure as fuck doesn't get any easier after the Ginso tree. This shit is brutal.

Such a great game. Hard as fuck though.

The OST for this game is nothing short of stellar. Just listen to this, it's fantastic. Honestly, this is probably my GoTY for 2015.

The title theme is seared into my brain forever. SPOILER WARNING!!

some of you guys are actually stuck on this game??

never try and 100% Super Meat Boy if your finding this game hard

Almost finished with it I think. Backtracking for 100% now. Absolutely fantastic game.
Love the look, and I think the platforming feels great.
It's not quite up there with rayman legends/origins for me when it comes to platforming, but it's pretty close.
And I really like the design of the save system. Reminds me of they bleed pixels, but I really like that the save uses the same resources as some of your other skills.

Certainly one of the best games of the year.

I bought this on a whim and am REALLY enjoying it. A nice change of pace from all the shooters, and RPGs, and things like that I have on my PC.

I think I'm going to buy a controller to play it though, and might grab some other platformers. Playing this with a mouse and keyboard is a bit counter-intuitive.

a little note as well, once you have completed the game, the save file is locked, so you cant go back into the same game and try and get 100% completion

Yeah, luckily I heard about that before I hit the ending.
I'd be pissed if I had finished it without picking up everything and I was unable to go back to finish it up.

I finished this game about a week ago and I loved it. Probably one of the best stories told in a metroidvania style platformer, the visuals and music did such a good in telling the story that I feel the text on screen ended up being detrimental to the whole experience.

So many emotions in this damn game....I need some fucking Ori merch.

bought this on a friends recommendation. great game, about a third of the way through atm i imagine

One of the best platform games i've ever played. The art design, gameplay and music is absolutely amazing !!
I will buy the soundtrack. Great game

Think i'm about half way through right now. Game is damn excellent. Loving pretty much everything about it.

I just finished Rayman Legends last night. Saved all teensys and got all diamond cups!

The final set of 8-bit levels were extremely tough.

This game surprised me on how good it was. Kind of like Max curse of the brotherhood. i didn't know how good these games were gonna be, especially for the price.

yeah, that was another game i really enjoyed as well

some of these Live games are better than a lot of full price releases

i also enjoyed Kalimba a fair bit, not for everyone though. Watch a few videos before jumping into that one, its a puzzle/platformer that can be VERY hard if you try and 100% it
