Option to 'like' posts went away... what gives?

A month ago, with the format change, liking posts haa been one of the few improvements.

It's nice to let the authors of good posts know you appreciate their input, without having to quote the post and respond. As well as knowing your posts are being appreciated.

I humbily and respfully ask for this feature to be restored.
