My ideal amount of sleep is 9-10 hours. Usually 7-8 at night and 1-2 in the afternoon.
Im the only person I know who requires this much sleep just to feel good. Although I don’t drink caffeine so maybe that has something to do with it. If I get less than 7-8 hours I will instantly start getting sick. It’s pretty crazy how shitty my immune system is.

What about you guys? I know some hard workers who only require 5-6 a night but these mofos run on caffeine. They don’t workout physically as much as me but they definitely put in work at their jobs, while still getting workouts in. I’d probably end up getting sick and dying if I were them.

Here is a clip of Khabib talking about how he requires naps. Makes me feel a little better about myself lol. I wonder if he needs tons of sleep like me

I sleep around 5 to 7 hours a day. 5 isnt enough for me but it is a decent amount of sleep and its better than nothing. 7 hours is perfect for me i pretty much wake up like a clock after 7 hours and once i wake up i wont fall back to sleep. Limited that way. I knew a guy who could fall asleep any time he wanted didnt need a bed or a soft surface or even to be laying to fall asleep. Kinda creepy.

Sleep time never really mattered much to me. It was nice to get 7 hours but I could function on 3. I could go a couple of days without sleep before I was 40. Now in my old age and retirement, I sleep whenever I feel like it and often when I don't want to. I record television shows as I watch or watch recorded shows because I might fall asleep while watching. I can't seem to sleep between midnight and 3 AM lately. being old, I have to piss every couple of hours then it can be difficult to get back to sleep.

About tree fiddy.

I like 9 hours. I'll even go to bed early just to make sure I can get around 9.

I let my body tell me how much sleep I need. Usually 9 to 9.5 at night.

Between 7-8 hours and only at night. If I try to sleep more I can't. Less than that and I'm not 100% the next day.

More than the 4 or 5 I usually get. But then once a week I usually get a good 10 or more hours. I've read all sorts of stuff on sleep and some studies say you can't "catch up" on sleep, but read a few that say it's about the number of sleep cycles (no clue if that's bs, or even what it means) over a particular duration. Seems to work for me. We're so different and so adaptable that I don't think there's a one size fits all formula as far as sleep goes. Too much or too little is bad, but even that differs for people.

6-8, I think. Less sleep and it may be harder to function. More sleep and it may keep me up too long and affect the next time I sleep. But I'm fairly amenable. I don't get up to use the bathroom or anything, so I tend to get good sleep when I do sleep. All things considered.

It's definitely variable between individuals and also amenable depending on various factors in your life. I find that when I'm in better shape I need less rest and also it's a bit easier to get to sleep. And then you wake up refreshed. Being in better shape just makes everything function better. Sleep, sex, etc. I have less mental fog than I used to. It helps keep everything sharp.
