so...i was reading a few threads that mentioned mayweather easily beating the likes of possible top contenders, pacquiao and his english friend khan. obviously, my first thought was if pac and khan are easy match-ups for floyd, then who in their division would be considered a tough match up for him?

i'm certain whoever it is has to be fast, strong, and most importantly be able to draw an audience. so who in the welters or a division up or down would fit this description?

i've heard some say sergio martinez but i don't think floyd will fight him. too risky for little payout.

Bradley could be a fight I'd be interested to see as well. No money to be made off it though, so doubt it'll come about. If he's set on creating his legacy since the other thread suggests he'll retire soon, I'd see the next few fights going Khan > Pacquiao > Bradley > Martinez. Martinez is a win/win situation. If he wins, he beat the legitimate middleweight champion. If he loses, no one can detract a loss against a man much bigger then him.

Bradley is long over due his shot at Pac or Floyd. Fuck Khan.

Berto is one Floyd can handle but I woukd watch.

Collazo is one i want to see get a shot a Pac but if floyd gave him a shot, i would be just as happy.

Cotto if he wins against Marg is a fight i could see happening next yr.

A Rematch with Ortiz.

Thats about it really. After that you have Alexnder,Jones,Alvez, K-9,Angulo,Morales,Ghost,Khan,Garica.

I'm no Khan fan.
BUT!! I truly think Khan gives him his toughest test. I think Khan can beat Floyd.

Sergio, Khan, Alvarez, and Pacquiao would all make for some great fights.

I kinda want to see the rematch with Ortiz. It was a lot of fun before the bullshit.

Khan couldn't beat Floyd if he fought with loaded gloves like Margarito. Hell, Floyd could let him fight with loaded gloves and I'd still bet my $200 on Mayweather.

Excluding Pac

Martinez
Khan
Bradley (no money in this fight)
Cotto, if he beats Marge

Ortiz rematch is unnecessary

I couldn't agree more. It wouldn't even be close.

^ that's exactly why i created this thread. everyone always says stuff like the guy above me. i just find it odd that most folks out there give pac and khan little chance against floyd, yet never name a current fighter that could be perceived as a good match up for him. some have suggested bradley or berto but i don't know, i see floyd schooling these two just as easy if not easier.

i think if welterweight is too easy for him, he should try his luck in the junior middle or middleweight div. who knows his speed and defensive abilites could make him a champ there as well. win win situation.

Khan vs Floyd can be a better fight than Manny vs Floyd

Floyd can beat both of them at his best, but after his crazy year,i don't think he has all his head right

the main quality of Floyd, is to adapt and change the tactic during the fight,to dominate all the late rounds

Anyone who says Floyd would beat Pac easy is a full fledge flomo. That is absolutely patently false.

I don't know who would win, but I guarantee you it is not an easy fight for either. Pac in my estimate is actually faster that Floyd. Floyd's defense is magnificent but Pac's offense is superb superhuman.

The fight needs to happen.

I don't think it's true that most folks give pac little chance. That's absolutely not what I was saying. I do agree that if he insists on ducking pac, he should move to another weight class.

Sergio, Pac, Khan, Alvarez

after he beats pacman n khan he should retire will be no one left
