As soon as Wanderlei and his group of fighters started talking about creating the "Ali Act" for mma Dana stopped doing press conferences and media scrums. It was all the same week.

I feel that was when Dana and the Fertittas emotionally decided that they had enough with this business. Also the potential for the Muhammad Ali Act in mma would devalue the UFC by A LOT. No way the UFC sells for even $1billion if there is an Ali Act.

They're selling because Ronda is now making moviez... soon to be followed by Conor...
(edit) While Brock is headed back to the WWE!

What about the proof Wand had about fixed fights?

I dont think Wand's crazy rambles had anything to do with the UFC selling.

Do you really believe that you're the only one to think of this and that the billion dollar companies bidding on the UFC are just a bunch of ratards?

I absolutely agree because I learned that the Ali act would make them HAVE to show how much they earn and when they compare that to fighter salaries.......Bye bye caviar!

There are a lot of interesting factors in the build up to this.

Not only a variation of the Ali Act being possible, but the litigation from fighters that would force them to finally reveal their financial figures. Also, the Reebok deal has been in effect for almost one year and soon they will soon need to explain why fighters got less than 60% of the money that was supposed to be set aside for them. Why it costs several million dollars a year to give the fighters their Reebok gear.

I think it's a combination of factors such as the big lawsuit they've had going on for a while now, the Ali act and also possibly the huge fuck up and eventual backlash from the reebok deal, they know they stand to lose a lot of fighters once them contracts run out.
