Only thing disappointing about Stipe’s performance

is that he didn’t push hard enough for the finish. In the last 10 seconds Stipe was even raising his arm in victory clearly waiting for the decision. Otherwise highly impressive performance not sure why the criticism around here. He expertly neutralized the bigger and stronger puncher. He gassed, so what, for a HW that’s not unusual.

Joking aside, Ngannou is much more than than a muscle bound gasser like Soko or Baroni. He can defend himself for all 5 rounds and still swing back. He just needs to lose from flab and get into a better camp.

Awesome game-plan by Stipe. Was never really in danger. Plus that 3 piece combo. . Think he could have gotten the finish later in the fight. But not many thought he would straight outclass him like that.
