Didn't see anything in the forums but did the Okami stand ups get talked about at all. I generally dislike stand ups but I really hated him being stood up from half guard after Belcher pulled guard (and I kept thinking he was going to be stood up from mount). Also the warnings for striking the back of the head just didn't seem warranted (didn't really see any, could be wrong though).

Was it just me or did the JDS v Cain fight remind others of the first Randy v Chuck fight.

Stands up where bulllshit I dont think a ref should control where the fight takes place.
The one from side control was hard to watch

It seems like patiently working for subs doesn't count as offense any more. Guess thats why so many fighters are just going for pit patter ground and pound instead.

There were other moments where it should have been stood up. I think the ref misses their chance but then decide to stand them up at the wrong moment, when someone passes or starts working.
The half guard stand up pissed me off too.

I thought he was working for them when he was interrupting Belchers breathing with his shoulder but it never really went anywhere.

I liked the Chuck/Randy parallel btw, it did play out a lot like that fight. Good call.

Cain came out and was sticking JDS in the face, imo had JDS fighting scared from the get go. Cain hits a takedown that JDS gets up from immediately...but the psychological battle was already won for Cain by then, I think, allowing Cain to outstrike and outgrapple him all night long. Definitely a Chuck/Randy 1 flavor to it.
