People should really stop demonizing petroleum as if modern civilization would be possible without it. They flip all kinds of shit about the US Shale revolution like it happened on account of the Big Oil majors. Most of the exploration innovators would actually be found towards the very bottom of the Fortune 500, if at all. A lot of them went bankrupt during the last pricing war of 2014-16.
There are simply unfortunate environmental byproducts that need to be dealt with, and they will be. Just calm down, baby. Nat Gas is also killing coal along the way. The Green New Deal is a non-starter though, and this would certainly look a lot sexier if it had wielded the geopolitical shake-up that it should've. It's an American triumph, but many don't see it that way. They just don't know.
We should have ditched the filthy inefficient internal combustion engine long ago. We could have been a BEV society long ago if not for the stranglehold oil companies out on us.
Thank God for Tesla, and thank God VAG got caught in Deislegate. Now the switch to battery electric is a lock.
Lmao ya 80 million lithium car batteries rotting in dumps a year would save the environment.
No-nukes hippies did nothing. Show me the anti-nuke legislation they got passed in congress? GOP and democratic politicians alike may have underspent on nuclear R&D, but ultimately the free market is at fault - nuclear takes way too much capital, all front loaded, and is still to expensive after the plants are built to be competitive.Braindead Leftists already ruined our nuclear utopia. We had a clean, green, sustainable answer but had to throw it away because of idiots. All the smart people say nuclear was the answer, but the "no nukes" hippies crushed everything.
Idiots.

Goes to show the power of the media.bernie wont do anything because he is losing to joe biden of all people
Goes to show the power of the media.
So you'd rather be robbed by a dementia laden corrupt piece of shit like Biden? No it just shows even much of left does not want to be robbed blind by a scum communist.
You can’t eat a tractor either, but it sure makes it easier to produce things that you can eat.50,000? Can you eat petroleum???
Joe Biden. Joe-Fuckin'-Biden.So in your expert opinion on black voters, do you think black voters lack the ability to decide which candidate they like for themselves and vote for who the "democrat establishment" tells them to?
So was that whole thing with you a few weeks ago eagerly wanting to support Bernie just a troll? Or do you choose to support Sanders in spite of your obviously immense differences with him on the fracking ban, transition to 100% renewable energy and the GND?
That was the point of hemp. You can eat it. It’s protein and is loaded with omega 3,6&9 among a lot of other nutrients. Plus you can literally build a tractor from hemp and run it off hemp bio fuel. You can’t eat a tractor either, but it sure makes it easier to produce things that you can eat.

Who the hell wants to spend 10 billion on a nuclear plant with a bunch of construction delays when they can build a number of less risky gas, solar and wind projects for the same amount of capital and sell the energy at a cheaper price?
