Not only a totally corrupt decision, but it was the dirty business of Bob Arum that Schultz even got a Title Shot to begin with.

It had to do with Big George's promoter, Bob Arum, paying for rankings to get Schultz' ranking moved higher, so that George could defend against what they thought would be an easier safer opponent instead of a real top challenger. The whole thing stunk through-and-through.

I feel bad for the unheralded Schultz who fought his Heart out that night and deserved to be called the lineal Heavyweight Champ of the World.


It's one of the worst disgraces in Boxing, and Boxing has had a lot of those.
