He shook Rubin's hand. He got teh gay Aidz.
Thats fucked up.
And why didn't Rubin correct him real time? He was obviously disparaging gays by comparing homosexuality to crack addiction and homelessness.
Rubin just stood smiling there while he compared him and his partner to crack addicts and the homeless, and then he agreed with him.
The guy is spineless and completely dishonest.
Because Rubin is an empty, vapid, hyper-agreeable rube shilling for the right at all costs. He never disagrees with or corrects his guests. He's also a living meme.
The Rubin Report is still a thing? Eew.
...because Rubin's entire shtick is getting paid to weaponize his identity as a gay man against the left.
This is one of the most blatant examples of it happening, but this is pretty much what he does: give cover to bigots.
IMO The stuff that Shapiro said to him about refusing to go to his anniversary party because of his religious convictions after Dave made the case for him being "open-minded" was even worse.
What's wrong with what he said? He pointed out that there's a difference between accepting something in society and wanting it for your kids. I didn't realize there was anything controversial about wanting your kids to have their own families.
Yes, there's no pejorative connotation whatsoever when drawing analogies between same sex attraction and homelessness and drug addiction.
Dont judge Tommy on this one interview alone. Hes a nice guy, I swear.
I too watch shows from people I hate hoping I can be offended and then post about it so people will know I’m a good person for being more offended than them
This didn't offend me in the slightest. I laughed my ass off, just like I did when Shapiro told his "buddy" Rubin to his face that he wan't comfortable going to his house for a party because he's gay.
Nothing funnier than watching a professional bootlicker being forced to eat shit right in front of his audience.
It happens to Rubin quite frequently. Prager basically called him a useful idiot to face, and he also had to sit there and take it.
Maybe he meant to say butt crack addiction.
Gays = the new homeless crackheads.
That's as far as I got. All of about 4 seconds.
What's another example he could have used? There aren't that many things to use to say that you don't hate somebody but wouldn't want it for your kids. Right around 100% of parents would like their kids to have their own families one day. I don't agree with the guy's acceptance of crack smoking homeless people, but that was being soft on them, not hard on gays.
He seemed genuinely taken aback by that for a moment, but he put his game face back on and shook that slimy hand. I don't know whether to admire his composure or chide his lack of spine.
EDIT: the Rubin/Shapiro interview
Apparently not if you're married.
Men in same-sex marriages tend to earn significantly more than their lesbian or heterosexual counterparts, according to new data released this week by the U.S. Treasury Department. Gay men had an average household income of $176,000 in 2014, $52,000 more than lesbian couples and $63,000 more than opposite-sex couples. One group where incomes are remarkably higher than peers: same-sex married men with children report average earnings of $275,000, more than double that of same-sex female and heterosexual couples.
He's a clown.
He's the intellectual dark web.
