A suitable farewell fight for the prodigy? At 155!

it would be like Wand/Chuck or Big Nog/Handy... too late for it too be great

Many old school fans would love this bout. BJ beat Gomi before his big PRIDE run where Gomi stopped many guys. They've both come a bit down to earth after their peaks, but both still have skills.

UFC put together Big Nog vs. Heath Herring 3, so why not BJ vs. Gomi 2?

Hope it happens and the Fire Ball kid gets his revenge

Far from it considering it happened already when they were both on the rise.

B.J. pretty much mauled him.

I doubt it would go much different, but if Gomi has his way with Sanchez why not?

There would be little if no point. BJ should've retired after the Hughes fight IMO.

Legends who are past their primes tend to make great fights in UFC. BJ vs. Gomi could be great.

BJ would have probably beat Gomi when he was peaking in Pride but I still would have liked to see it then. Too bad he signed with K-1.

Depends if Gomi is motivated and in shape. Seriously though, not to sound pompous, but only the hardcore fans know who Gomi is; meaning that if BJ does come out of his semi-retirement, hopefully it will be against a bigger name (can't think of a suitable example, suggestions welcome).

I would like to see it if Gomi beats Sanchez but Gomi is years passed his prime.

If it happens, I hope Gomi trains his ass off and becomes the first man to knock out Penn.
