Getting ready for a late night tonight! Prelims at 1am, main card 3am.....not getting to bed until 7am. Just wondering how often other guys and girls this side of the world stay up to watch the American cards live?

For me it's only been the Conor fights (although I did go and see Gus's last fight in Sweden) I've stayed up to watch......the rest get recorded and watched Sunday!

I very rarely miss a card

I used to stay up for pretty much every one when I first got into MMA, but now I only stay up for the PPV's and the odd other card. I'm definitely staying up tonight though.

I often stay up or take a little nap and wake up as the main card is about to start.
Drugs have helped but the next day is no fun.

Only for big ones. Last one was UFC 194. I won't stay up tonight tho,had a really long day and just can't do it.

I just set the alarm and get up to watch the main fights or record and watch it first thing in the morning. I always feel too tired to enjoy it if I try to stay up.

4am. main card here. Couple of years ago i stayed and watched almost every event, but now, only ppv

Every card. Even book the Mondays off work for the cards that are Sunday night.

tomorrow morning i'll downolad the 720p torrent.

Never stay up for the card.

I will (and usually) watch the Fightpass prelims, then I turn the phone onto airplane mode and avoid the internet until I watch it the next day.

Not so much not being able to handle the Sunday day, as much as it would suck, I just wouldn't enjoy the fights staying up until 6am or whatever. I'd be too tired to watch it properly.
So I'd basically have the results and then have to watch it the next day properly without the excitement.

I will be up until 6:30am probably. Sleep is for the weak.

I always stay up and watch the prelims through to main event. It doesn't feel half as exciting recording a big fight and watching it the next day.

I used to stay up for every single UFC and PRIDE event but these days I just Tivo it and watch it first thing in the morning bar the occasional event. It's not usually the fights but what's going on with me that determines whether I stay up. I might stay up tonight as I have the week off work and the other halfs at her mothers so I don't have to worry about sleep schedules.

EDIT - Plus recording it means I can skip past all the BS talk and intro's and get straight to the fights.

I live in belgium so the main event is around 5:30 am. Stayed up for anderson vs chael 2, mcgregor vs mendes, mcgregor vs aldo

Just the really big ones. I will set alarmclock for the big ppv's and watch the prelims on Sunday.

All other events Sunday morning.

Do they not have DVRs in Europe?

Yes but lots of people like staying up to watch a fight live remember this is nothing new to us we have had to stay up for boxing for decades. I don't do it so much now but when I was a teen early twenties me and my mates would get some beers or other things in and stay up all night watching fights.

Just the loaded cards for me these days - I DVR the rest. It totally wipes out my Sunday and I pass out before the main event half of my attempts anyway!
I'll be staying up tonight though.
