Jakarta: Asia’s largest sports media property and the world’s most exciting mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, ONE Championship™ (ONE), has just intensified its highly-anticipated return to Jakarta, Indonesia with the announcement of eight exciting new bouts. ONE: ODYSSEY OF CHAMPIONS, which takes place at the Istora Senayan indoor arena on 27 September, will showcase a band of the organization’s top stars competing at the highest levels of the sport.

With no fewer than five flawless records on the line, the stakes could not be higher for ONE's elite athletes. Expect an intense night jammed full of hard-hitting action as ONE Championship once again prepares to electrify Jakarta on 27 September 2015.

Further bouts will be announced in the near future.

Main event-
145-lb title bout: Marat Gafurov vs. Narantungalag Jadamba

Co-main event-
145-lb bout: Herbert "The Blaze" Burns vs. Timofey Nastyukhin

Undercard-
185-lb bout: Leandro Ataides vs. Aleksei Butorin
205-lb bout: Jake Butler vs. Cristiano Kaminishi
125-lb bout: Andrew Leone vs. Yusup Saadulaev
155-lb bout: Arnaud "The Game" Lepont vs. Vincent Latoel
145-lb bout: Bashir Ahmad vs. Martin "The Situ-Asian" Nguyen
135-lb bout: Muin Gafurov [no relation] vs. Casey Suire
145-lb bout: Sunoto vs. Mario Satya Wirawan

I'm assuming the "further bouts to be announced" means they're still working on an opponent for Fransino Tirta. Hopefully Leone actually makes weight this time; he has yet to miss weight by at least three pounds for a 125-lb bout. Three pounds is a lot at 125, and it adds a lot of extra size once you rehydrate compared to, say, at 185, which showed in both of his fights at 125 (he actually missed weight by four in his last fight, which was even more significant.) I'm pretty sure that was the reason he didn't get a title shot yet. Not having made weight before is one thing, but missing weight twice is another.

Also, Brandon Vera vs. Chi Lewis-Parry's set for Manila for ONE's inaugural heavyweight belt. They both agreed to the bouts a few days ago (Vera even signed the agreement on camera), but it's official now.

Manila: ONE Championship™ (ONE) will return to Manila, Philippines for a grudge match between top-ranked heavyweight contenders Brandon “The Truth” Vera and Chi Lewis “Chopper” Parry at Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on 11 December 2015, with the winner set to be crowned the inaugural ONE Championship™ Heavyweight World Champion. ONE: SPIRIT OF CHAMPIONS will play host to the titanic showdown, as world-renowned Muay Thai stylist and 8-time Grappler's Quest Champion Vera looks to claim the gold against unbeaten British kickboxing convert Parry, who challenged the Filipino-American Vera after both fighters recorded recent first round knock out wins.

CEO of ONE Championship™, Victor Cui, stated, “We're thrilled to be returning to Manila to bring our loyal fans one of the biggest fights of the year! Brandon Vera and Chi Lewis Parry are two of the most exciting heavyweight fighters in the world, and with the ONE Heavyweight title on the line we can expect a fantastic fight! These two have been on a collision course for some time, and it will all come to a head at ONE: SPIRIT OF CHAMPIONS!”

The owner of 8 KO victories, Brandon Vera is one of the most recognizable figures in the game, as well as one of the most feared Muay Thai practitioners in the world. Renowned for possessing outstanding striking technique, Vera devastated Ukrainian heavyweight Igor Subora with a straight left and a flurry of kicks in his ONE Championship™ debut to the delight of the fans in Manila. Now, he will look to utilize his outstanding ability and vast experience fighting some of the very best fighters in the world to his advantage as he accepts the challenge of prodigious prospect Chi Lewis Parry.

Brandon Vera declared, “I'm excited to have the honor of fighting for the ONE Heavyweight World Championship in the Philippines,” adding, “I am very much looking forward to fighting Mr. Parry, especially since he's been asking for it!”

At 6'9, colossal British stand out Chi Lewis Parry has one of the most imposing frames in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) today, and a record to match. With 5 first round finishes to his credit, Parry remains undefeated in MMA competition, making a huge statement against Cameroon's Alain Ngalani last time out. Stopping the fight with a succession of precision elbows, Parry immediately turned his attentions to Brandon “The Truth” Vera in his quest to be crowned the number one heavyweight in ONE Championship™. At ONE: SPIRIT OF CHAMPIONS, Parry will get his wish as Vera steps into the cage to meet him head on!

Parry stated,“Firstly, I'd like to state just how appreciative I am of this opportunity! ONE Championship™ is an elite organisation for a reason, they put on the fights the fans want to see. This clash with Vera has been brewing for over a year now and finally, the truth will be told, the score will be settled, and the world will witness greatness happen this December! Chopper's coming... to MANILA!”

Great card. Really interested in the top two fights. Leone vs Saadulaev should be good as well.

Big step up from their last show with Bibi and bunch of debuting regional fighters.

Yusup Saadulaev, haven't heard that name in a while.

Jadamba vs Gafurov is going to be wild. Next 2 ONE cards are really good and there's still a Phillipines and Singapore card left this year which are always stacked

Great card for One FC. I take Gafurov and Nastyukhin.

That card is pretty sick, plus I'm really digging that heavyweight title fight. Good job ONE!

top two fights are good, title fight and next contender fight.

Should be a great fight night for One FC.

Who has better roster?

ONeFC or WSOF?

War Jadamba, what's with the extra "a" on the poster?

What's up with Vuyisile? Did he retire from MMA? Is he waiting out his contract?

That is going to be one good HW championship fight. I think Vera is going to be just too damned fast and technical for CLP to handle.

Who has better roster?

ONeFC or WSOF?

WSOF and it's not really that close. OneFC has a lot of local guys. But they wouldn't fair well in WSOF.

Good to see OneFC putting on a better show this time. The recent ones have been dreadful.

I was going to upbraid Chris for uncharacteristically trolling, but after looking at their rosters, it's closer than you think. Obviously WSOF has a deeper pool at 170, but the rest? I dunno.

Maybe I am just getting sick of Marlon Moraes crushing fighters that it's affecting my depth perception.

I thought Aoki was the FW champ? I was actually looking out for Timofey Nastyukhin vs Aoki for the FW belt.

Timofey has really heavy hands and had a lot of potential to take out Aoki

EDIT : Sorry Aoki is the LW champ not the FW Champ....derp

Like to see Narantungalag Jadamba in action, he's fighting someone who's 11-0. Hoping for a good one. Vera fighting for the belt is just obvious.

You only think WSOF has a deeper roster at WW? Have you seen OneFC HW, LHW, MW rosters? and WSOF LW div just got alot better.

HW rama, Ivanov, Mehmen, Mocco. OneFC has Parry and Vera. WSOF wins

LHW Spong, Kyle, Vinny, Thiago Silva, Hamill, Holder, Branch. OneFC Roger Gracie. WSOF wins

MW Branch, Vagabov, Starks. OneFC has Igor. Would say WSOF wins

WW Palhares, Fitch, Okami, Shields. OneFC has askren and Sapo. WSOF wins

LW Justin, Ricci, Baboon, Burley, High, Patino, Foster, Fodor
OneFC has Aoki, Huerta, Lowen, Ng, Davis, Colossa,

FW Frodo, Glenn, Palmer
OneFC has Gafurov, Jadamba, Timofey, Major,

BW Moraes, Moraes, Hill, Timur, Tiger
OneFC has Bibi, Kim, Ueda, Kevin B

Fly Gladiator
OneFC Moraes OneFC wins

I'm starting to draw a blank with LW, FW, BW with other ONeFC guys I know they have, but I mean imo WSOF has the better roster top to bottom.

HW to LW imo is def all WSOF with FW/BW/FLy I guess going to OneFC though BW I think could go to WSOF.
