i feel like he should get more respect around here. Dude always brought or at least tried to bring violence to the cage. He was just a straight scrapper. I was mad when he beat jardine though. Who here was on the Houston Alexander is for real bandwagon back in ththe day?

I don't get it. People now look at Houston as a joke. But back then he was kind of making himself into a big deal. Didn't live up to th hype and was to one dimensional. That shouldn't take away from th excitement he always tried to bring to ththe cage. Dude should of been a middleweight to

I believed he was for real after those two big wins.

He smashed Keith Jardine, who I also thought was for real.

Literally his only good win was Jardine. He even lost to Kimbo...

Houston obviously showed the ability to put people away

I think its more of a work ethic issue with him

God Irvin was a tool. Hope he's having fun losing in X-Arm.

The embarrassment that Rosenthal expressed with his body language made that such a great moment. Looks like he even mutters "fuuuuck" to himself as he steps between them and shakes his head.

Shoulda waited until after the fight to sell them each a bag Josh. WTF.

In his defense, Kimbo was a natural HW, where as Houston was a LHW that fought occasionally at HW. Bashing him over that isn't fair.

On the topic of bashing though, why did your stupid ass post a gif of the aftermath of the Irvin fight, without actually posting the KO.

Sounds like you are pretty worthless and incompetent, likely more so than you claim Houston to be.

I am with you, TS. Dude loved to throw down. He liked to get in close and dirty box and throw knees. I was always excited to see his fights

I think we all kind of knew that Houston was just a brawler. As long as you never expected more than that, he could be pretty fun to watch. Sometimes we just expect too much as fans.

    Hey Houston!

    output_2TixbW.gif

The mere fact that he got stiffened by Irwin is shameful enough. Kimbo (all due respect to him) didn't belong in the UFC. Houston came into the fight in terrible shape and losing that fight warrants ridicule.
