My friend has written a book that's over 800 pages. I'm 65 pages in and enjoying it, but I much rather have a physical book than read a PDF. I've heard about on demand book printing. Anyone here familiar with this service? Recommendations?

I too would like to know as my friend has also written a book and it seems to be out of print.

Get the pdf with you in a portable device and look for someone with a printer. Just print it there. You should look for at Universities or libraries.

I think one sherdogger printed his book through amazon.

I printed mine at Staples but it was only ring-bound. Three 500ish page volumes cost ~$80CDN.

+1 for Universities/libraries. I used to do it at work but for something really long you're playing with fire.

I think Lulu is what everyone uses to turn a long pdf into a book.
