How bad would it be to drive a car with a bad coil pack about a mile to a shop? 10 being imminent death and 1 being safe.
 
Probably about a 1. I'm about as far from being an auto mechanic as you can get but if you're just going a mile down the road I think that the worst that could happen is the engine will misfire & stall out.
 
On a scale of 1 - 10... You're going to die in a small to medium nuclear explosion.

all that will happen is the engine might be a little sluggish or idle poorly because its missing that cylinder, but its not going to cause the slightest bit of damage to your car.
 
Pay a hobo $10 to do it. Protip keep him a gunpoint so he doesn't steal the car
