The difference is in Dagestan and throughout Caucases fighitng is daily in all neighborhoods; so Khabib is right. It's not that I support kids or adults fighting, but the acceptance of casual fighting in that part of the world is on another level. In America, you see fights, but it's not rooted in men's culture to an extent you see there.

In America and the West in general fighting is frowned upon, parents teach their kids at a very young age that fighting is wrong and dangerous, sure they happen, in play grounds, in depraved areas, due to despair, poverty, kids being emotional, but that's just it. And kids who fight usually are punished or get a right tell off, at least when parents have their wits about them.

In Dagestan fighting is about pride, toughness, machism (?). Take two 6 years old of the same size and make them fight, the winner can brag about winning but the loser better not cry to his parents about it otherwise he's going to take another beating. I remember Khabib talking about it about how it's like, and that's what he said. I am sure Khabib knows that fights happen even in the US but not on the same scale as Dagestan.
