Just watch it live on eurosport. And as the Americans have one million thousand sportchannels alone. Approximatelly. They should be able to watch it as well.
48kg women snatching 98kg easy. WOW!

Saidly at work we get very few channels. I've never seen eurosport in the U.S., but I would think it would be on another sport channel.

I've been searching my channels for it but so far up to channel 456,353 no luck.

Cool, thanks for the heads up, I'll catch some of it tonight.

I spoke to my friend there this morning, she says it's an awesome atmosphere and can't wait to compete (women's 58's). Does anyone know where I could get a video stream (Aussies don't typically have cable, in any case I broke my tv when we moved)? If you want some photos, here's a good thread to check out http://www.phoenixweightlifting.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=694&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40

This should be a good championships, lots of people looking to secure their qualification nice and early.

They're showing fencing instead of weightlifting at the moment, what a waste.

I can understand why someone wouldn't be excited by seeing weightlifting, but c'mon, who the hell cares about fencing????

I'm still amazed I used to fence for a few years.

Sadly I dont have it on ym cable, but i've been keeping up with the results on USAWeightlifting.org

Two of my old training partners competed (and did very well too), Emily Quarton coming 21st in the 58's with 83kg snatch, 100kg clean & jerk, Jeane Lassen coming 3rd in the 69's with 102kg snatch, 136kg clean & jerk (c&j silver!!!).

Watched the 63kg class yesterday. They have too many classes in olylifting. Interesting that the 63kg women couldnt lift much more than the 48kg ones.

Anyone knows whehter its already over or if the open wieght category is still to come?

I think it's all over now (or at least the B group of the superheavyweights)

I tried convincing the others in the army to watch olympic lifting, but of course it was a no go. I did however see 69 kilos class briefly on eurosport. Wish I could be able to see more. Next time!

i seen some of that i think, china was doing very well i think.

Iw atch the 105kg group live at the moment. So the SHW are still to come. The repoter just said the go over to the SHW soon. So switch your eurosport on now!

Rezzahadeh dominated as expected. But where was Chigishev? Anyone knows why he didnt compete?
Now Boxing on ES.
