Up until yesterdays fight Oliveira likely did not have real financial security. The guy was always generous with his sparring partners and coaches, as a UFC fighter should be, so he realistically is only banking 30-40% of whatever he grosses.

Depending on how many PPVs yesterdays fight sold he may have earned upwards of $1,000,000 so he now has likely earned that financial security at least for the immediate future.

Dustins a stand up guy but theres no chance he had as much dog in him as Oliveira did after he took home that big payday for the third McGregor fight and it showed.
