Super interesting to see how this turn of events fired him up. We only see what's on the screen and we tend to forget these fighters have personal lives and can get affected by stuff.

I don't wanna hear any of you losers mentioning Islam, and I don't want this merged in an "Islam-Oliveira megathread". This is a Charles Oliveira appreciation post related to this video.

Wish you a good Monday sherbros, it's international fight week

Stripped belt Oliveira is the LW GOAT, perhaps even better than motivated BJ

Olivera looks the best he has in years. He's definitely fired up.

What the hell kind of dad would call his son crying and make him question his legacy the night before a fight? Lol.

It's cool and all, especially with the music in the background which makes you really emotional, but Charles wouldn't have gotten his belt taken away if he had made weight.

Maybe work extra hard the next time at making weight?

Remember how Sherdog said he'd lose because he was shook? Never fails.

It’s pretty sad some mma fans feel like they have to discredit Charles’ accomplishments because in some weird way it elevates the fighter they like… Fighters who seemed invincible, like Anderson, are great and inspirational…. But equally so is the one that tries, fails, fails some more…but through perseverance, personal growth, tenacity, and a will to reach their goal is equally, if not more, inspirational. Win or lose, I am a fan of a Charles until he retires and beyond… and his success is no threat to my support of any other fighter. I just appreciate there is a fighter such as Charles to enjoy watching fight.

He is a good example as a champ, I am impressed how he has turned on the switch later on in his career.

Oliveira never had a boring fight. What a great fighter, inside and out.

Charles definitely looked scary in that fight. Excited to see if he gets just as motivated to fight the winner of Islam vs Dariush
