His current championship run is actually a bit more impressive than khabib right now. Which I thought was impossible , and I consider khabib before he retire the true number one on the planet. Olives deserve that spot now since he went on a flawless tear

I'm a huge fan of Charles, not saying he missed weight intentionally but he did miss.
Now that I think about it, although he did miss championship weight, he was still within the normal 1-lb allowance for non-title fights so it's not like he was too heavy for the division.

It is a way for olives to restore himself and he knows most of them won’t join him down there. It is a great tactic

Don't get me wrong I think Oliveira is awesome but he gets hurt early in pretty much every fights. His capacity to come back and win is pretty damn impressive but at some point he's gonna fall and won't be able to get up anymore. He suffers way too much damage to stay on top for a long time, especially at lightweight. He really have to find a way to avoid being dropped repeatedly in every fight, even if he always manage to come back and win that can only work for so long

Came to say this. If getting dropped then flopping on your back for a few seconds is masterful before securing the victory than what Khabib to Gaethje then some people are just living off recency bias given Charles just won last. By no way was that win "masterful."

he has so many finishes. so many damn finishes and then he got his stand up to the point where its the best in the game right now too- hes been out striking everyone and justin couldnt even land a good leg kick on him. hes 11-0 or something right now in the ufc. the guy is goat level. that can not be denied. kabib gets all this praise but charles is the man.
