Once Upon A Time In the West looks awesome too.

ooooo, I need to pick this one up. I'd love to get a box set of sergio leone, john wayne westerns, bogart movies, etc. No good ones are available on blu that I know of.
 
Now when you say transferred properly...are some companies not doing this or some companies better than others?

From what I understand each film cel from the original reel must be shot by a camera and digitized. They then run digital filters and use artists' skill to clean up dirt, color, and imperfections in the film source. So the end result depends on

A)the condition the original film is in, which can deteriorate over time
and
B)the skill and technology that are involved in the digitizing and cleanup.

So some transfers can look WAY better than others.
