Still, thats quite impressive. I LMAO whenever people create threads saying they are like 22 and think they are too old to train for MMA. Hahahahah. It just goes to show that MMA is just as much psychological as it is physical when a 42 year old athlete can compete with guys half his age.
 
Definitely not. There is one guy I train with who just started BJJ les than a year ago and hes doing amateur fights. I'd say hes 32 or so. So he prolly started when he was 30. 23 def. aint too old. Just make sure you train hard enough and get enough skill down before you do it. Regardless if youre doing amateur or pro fights, you can still get your face knocked in.
 
Damn and I thought me starting at 16 was too late.
 
Early 20's is still young. You don't have to start doing something when you're a kid or teenager to end up being really good at it. Just put yourself into it 100%, and you will surprise yourself. If you truly have the dedication, and you will know if you do or not, it will just happen.
