who support or oppose something based solely on whether Obama has acted on it.
Yeah, incredible stuff. The pace of the turnaround is mind-blowing. Where's IDL to relate this to 1984?
Send me your newsletter bro
we don't know what those people knew .. did they know bergdahl was a deserter ? .. maybe they didn't know when posting all that .. and supporting his 'rescue' does not equal handing over terrorists ..
nevermind on the shannon lady .. what an idiot
The right wing is just one giant human centipede.
changing one's mind isn't just a woman's prerogative.
The only thing that these people know or care about is what the RW hacks on radio and television tell them to.
You calling Hillary a sheep?
Are you telling me that people supported getting the soldier back before they found out he was a deserter and possible traitor, but aren't in favor since the details are coming out about him and the prisoners swapped?
well, i will admit i was a fan of oj simpson until fox news told me he killed someone. now i dont like him. but i had never made the connection before. guess i just learned something about myself
also TS, or shall we call you matt binder, is that all you do is search through tweets of obama bashers looking for this stuff? if so, you have even less of a life than the average sherdogger
So the response from the WR's Sean Hannity types is:
1. They probably had perfectly good reasons to flip on a dime like that, like they hadn't heard the rumors.
2. Someone else kinda changed their mind in the other direction.
3. That probably required research. Only losers do research.
This is a fun thread!
Got to agree.
Nothing tells us what new things they learned over the last year before posting their new opinions. Of course, I can see people being angry at Obama regardless of whatever he did.
Actually my wife and twins received bracelets with Burgdahl's name on it at a memorial day event and really had no knowledge of him at all until that point. The other day when all this made news was the first time she even heard of any controversy.
Sure, but the reason Reagan got a pass for Iran/Contra was because it caused the release of innocent Americans.
If it had turned out that the hostages were actually traitors to the US he would have gotten slammed by everyone - which many on the left did/do regardless.
Yeah, so basically the conservative media tells people what to think, and it works. If they wanted a different reaction, right-wingers would just point to some additional info that led them to all simultaneously have the same change of heart again. Like I said, very Orwellian.
You miss the point of my post. The wife is pretty apolitical and the twins are only 12 - and I actually teach them that there is no such thing as a good/bad country or good/bad political party.
They got the bracelets from the local VFW (not political) and they weren't aware of Burgdahl being captured until then. She heard of the news about the controversy by watching The View (not right wing).
So as usual JVS, you are jumping to conclusion to support your own views.
Yup, just shitting into each others mouths.
Why the personal attack there?
Anyway, you're still not getting it. I know that most people don't really follow politics and that people who don't tend to trust certain sources. I'm pointing out how the right-wing media abuses that trust. They want to get votes and raise funds, they say Obama is an evil monster who doesn't care about our POW, and they give out pins; then the POW is brought home, and they add that he was likely a deserter and that Obama is an evil monster for bringing him home. Works both ways. They're just playing their audience like a fiddle.
