TJ looked like he's improved during his layoff. He had much better defense than before and he consistently stuck with the game plan and knew early on what works and what doesn't.

Cory had the size advantage and if he hadn't been throwing those spinning moves that kept compromising his back and just stuck with the Holloway stick and move strategy he would've won the fight and came out with less damage.

Say what you want about TJ, the knee injury and bloodied eye were a huge compromise to his performance yet he still edged it out.

This fight is good for Cory as he gained a lot of experience from one of the most well-trained guys in the sport. In 1-2 years from now we will likely see Cory challenge for the belt.
