Well... i expected it to be better.
In the end, it was average.
Too bad Peňáz was not there.

Oktagon 70 is still their best event of the year.

It was literally overhyped exhibition event after these 3 fights got scrapped - Szabova vs Pudilova, Penaz vs Wawrznyak, Vosgrone vs Alsina. It was basically event for CZ/SK casuals which they needed to prolong due to TV program and rights.. Also fact that Veličkovič got injured "and" mostlikely entered fight compromised made it even worse....

For me personally it was one of worst events of Oktagon i seen in loong,loong time. Happy that Vemola won tho...and respect to Škvor for performance like this in few days short notice. Same for Alsina is tough one for surviving all rounds.

Next two events are much more promising, mainly Oktagon 74.



Humburger vs Hulme, Penaz vs Wawrznyak, Čepo vs Jotko, Engizek vs Stanton and Bolander vs Szabova are all potentionally great fights. Also Mazuch vs Khajevand should be fireworks

It was his last official fight....but man let me say something. Vemola did so much for local MMA. He was basically Connor McGregor of Cz/Sk scene. Everyone either loved or hated him. Without him Czech local scene - including Oktagon would'nt get so popular.

He also probably made much more money doing that than he would make in UFC since he nowdays have 3 lions, crocs, eagle, kangaroo and etc. at his own house in Czech Rep...
