Okinawan Karate Incomplete System?

If Canelo Alvarez had done some karate as a kid you would be here posting stupid kata pictures trying to demonstrate that he is a karate fighter in disguise. You are a caricature of the TMA nerd who can't admit that he wasted his time with crappy combat forms, but you are 20 years too late. I feel sorry for you.
No I wouldn’t unless by ‘some’ you mean 5+ years, and as a kid you mean 13-18+

In Silat, they teach different kinds of massage using herbal concoctions people think are magical. They'll use it on their shins after they do that tree kicking. Everyone in Tae Kwon Do is an expert at applying wraps / ice and treating bruises and sprains lol. I think folk remedies are tied up in some traditions, in some places.
Treating bruises/sprains is basic first lol. Don’t think anyone is claiming it’s part of a martial art.

besides if the Chinese didn’t teach their recovery methods to okinawans, I’m sure there was plenty of sports medicine traditions on the island already that they used for karate.

I mean we’ve all seen the magic clap and it’s healing properties.
