Treating bruises/sprains is basic first lol. Don’t think anyone is claiming it’s part of a martial art.In Silat, they teach different kinds of massage using herbal concoctions people think are magical. They'll use it on their shins after they do that tree kicking. Everyone in Tae Kwon Do is an expert at applying wraps / ice and treating bruises and sprains lol. I think folk remedies are tied up in some traditions, in some places.
