Not MMA, but when Canelo KO’ed Amir Khan. Watching live it went from “holy shit!” To “I hope he is ok” pretty quickly. He was motionless for several minutes on the ground afterward

Recently in MMA When Sterling got KO’ed by knee it had me worried

And one mike tyson fight i forget the other guys name but he become intangled in the.ropes and it holds him up in the corner and tyson is just unloading shots on him while he wide open thought for Sure that guy forgot who he was that night perminately.

MMA wise..outside of the early days ..like gary goodridges elbows of death and some tank abotts finishes.. The scary knocks really went away..

Gonzagas headkick on mirko was a big one for the time..that looked pretty bad at the time..

Hendo h bomb on bisping..that was clean as fuck..almost look like he punched threw his face/head the punch didnt slow on impact..

Bj penn coal uno..sub 20 second destruction the way unos head was wedge after the fast punches he looked dead..


Rashad on liddell..definite heart stopping moments there..hated watching that big chuck fan..

Im sure theres more..cant think right now for MMA

Edit..Rampages ko on wanderlei in the UFC.. Thought he dulled the axe murder forever that night

The KO that sticks out for me is Rashad Evans vs Sean Salmon. I remember watching that live on Spike TV back in the day in my friends dorm room and thinking Salmon died. Took quite a few minutes before Salmon was moving again. He should have never fought again after that brutal KO.

For MMA freak KOs I remember where a white guy with long hair, probably a lightweight, gets KTFO then pounded for like 20 seconds while the ref is stupidly picking up his mouthpiece that went flying after the 1st punch.

Only time i can recall being concerned was the uriah hall ko on tuf. I think uriah's reaction played into it, and also because it was on tuf, and there is still some uncertainty as to whether these guys are really cut out for this. The real concern was that he had suffered a serious injury, which was quite reasonable given the way he looked.

Gatti outweighed him by 20 pounds on fight night. Not good.
