Stop bulking and cutting.I’m not a bodybuilder, I just can’t do the marquee lifts. Just trying to build enough muscle to get through the long cut I’ve post oned for years.
I know guys who cut till they’re shredded… end up getting down to like 150
Either I’m doing 2 months clean bulk, 3 month cut.. and just run that pattern over and over
Or I’m doing 3 month bulk… going all out… run a big ass cycle.. health be damned.. and then just cut cut cut. 6 months.. 8 months.. just go till I see a 6 pack
Bro that's the number one way to waste time.Stop bulking and cutting.
Eat clean and exercise.

If you're a beginner you can get away with "gaintaining"
Not if you've put on 30 pounds of muscle already

I hold myself to a high standard..Cutting and bulking for no reason is the number one way to waste time.
You posted in these threads that you are your goal weight but not happy with the results. Why not just spend the time gaining the necessary muscle and then manage your calories to slowly cut down instead of what you are doing now?
All your threads are about how poorly your cuts are going. Just eat a little above your required daily calories, progress in weight without getting massively overweight and after an extended period of 6+months, drop the cals a bit and lose weight slowly without wrecking all your training metrics. If you don;t have a competition, then why bother cutting anyway?
23% bodyfat isn't low. No wonder you aren't happy with the results. That's closer to bulking territory.I hold myself to a high standard..
I was proud of the muscle I put on and took my foot off the gas bit.. thought the TRT would fill in the gaps.
But it's all good. I actually ended up losing a little more weight.. And now I'm closer to 23% body fat.
And I'm just going to run a cycle. Probably closer to recoup then bulk.. But LET ME BE CLEAR
I'm taking steroids.
So let's not act like if you natty you gonna get real results just recomping
If you're happy with your physique and build mass over 2--3 years then sure.. It'll work. Thats what my lil bro does.
But if you're not happy with your physique.. You need to master the bulk and cut. It's your best tool.
Now the one mistake I did make is cutting extra hard AT THE EXPENSE OF SLEEP.
And the lesson that I learned is that even on a healthy dose of test.. If you aren't sleeping right, you're at a significant deficit you will lose muscle.
I mean being 220 at 5’ 7 (without looking obese)was exhilarating tbh. I always felt weak growing up… so getting huge is the most exciting part for me. Not physique23% bodyfat isn't low. No wonder you aren't happy with the results. That's closer to bulking territory.
I couldn't care about my physique. I have had visible abs my entire life and never been heavier than 183lbs. If I was at 23% bodyfat I would be around your weight, no issues.
In the end it's your training, but everything you have posted on this forum points to what you are doing as not really working effectively long term.
You would be better off stabilising things for a bit, spending some time building slowly and then addressing your body fat percentage after a period of 6-12 months if it's still an issue. My guess if you move away from the cutting/bulking phases, things will start to regulate and you will have better results.
