nobody,and I mean nobody, im my gym do deadlifts...(beside myself,of course)
About one month ago I joined a new gym,which is like a new,modern gym with fancy equipment and I think has about 50 members now. Due to my work,one week I train there in the mornings,next in the evenings,so I can see all the people who train there.
Long story short,didn't see anybody do deadlifts...unbelievable
 
The more time you spend on S&P, the more things you will notice that are wrong with people at your gym.
 
it took me a while but i eventually saw one or two people doing deadlifts. havent seen them since.
 
Only two people at my gym deadlift and I know everyone there. The guy besides me is a former olympic lifter from Russia and he is a fuckin bear.

God I saw the shitiest squat form, two guys walking forwards off the squat stands with two maxi pads on the bar and then doing half squats with their knees so far forward of their toes it made me wince.

Solution - put on some RATM, slap some more weight on the bar and squat properly, after my set at 145kg I realised they were both staring at me open mouthed. Guess they'd never seen someone squat properly before (or perhaps they were just admiring my studliness).
 
I'm the only person at my gym that does deadlifts.

They probably got hurt. That's a very dangerous exercise.
 
I can't remember whether I said this before or not, but I actually have seen 2 other ppl (recently) deadlift in my gym (I love bein' alpha. lol). Unfortunately, they were both usin' weight that I could curl one handed (not that I've done it recently, except to make people feel wholly inadequate). The one was a girl, who I'm sure doesn't aspire to strength gains, so she has an excuse. The guy was bendin' his spine as he did it, so I went up and gave him some advice on his form. I figger if I see him again I'll work on gettin' him somethin' closer to real weight.

at least they used a real rack instead of a damn machine.
 
Hey dont be a cry baby...I dont go to fancy gym,but some small shithole without power rack..
I am the only one that does deadlift, maybe there are 2 people who do pull ups(beside me).I am the only one that does cleans...It goes on...
Some folk there say U DO A LOT OF STRANGE EXERCISE haha..But hey why worry..It is their loss..
But fear not..there is a lot of benching and curling going on..;)

Machine, in my gym? HA!

No machines in here grandad (now that's an obscure reference), we have the room under the stairs, nothing but powerracks, squat stands, benches and a pullup bar (plus shiteloads of bars weights and DBs), I love that place.
 
I've seen two or three other people do deadlifts at my gym. They all pick up the bar once, and then move up and down, and then set it down after the final rep. So, they aren't technically deadlifts in that case.

Slightly OT, but I saw somebody curlin' in my squat rack today... I saw him when I walked in and thought "This wont end good." Walked up and said, "How much longer you gonna be usin' this?" (I mighta said "mis-usin'" it... I know I thought it at least. lol). He goes, "Well, I just got started. Do you wanna work in? What're you gonna be doing?" I said, "Squats. I know it's a novel idea in the squat rack." He goes, "Oh, I can just use this," and pointed to the e-z bar on the preacher curl bench...
