he was touching his eye a lot before he got kicked in the face. I didnt catch what caused it, either a poke or he got punched clean in the eye. Yair was a beast, but something was up with Fili's eye.

I really don't know. However that stutter step to switch and jump could easily have been a knee rather than a kick. That's not a common thing to see and know how to react to, IME.

He totally might have been hurt and/or just thought a knee was coming rather than a shin kick from a crazy angle.
