I just watched his post-fight presser and he was brutally honest. I would bet that many guys wouldn't even go out there after a performance like that. Classy moments seem rare in our sport.
 
I gained some respect for him for that. Said the fight was 100% his fault and he doesn't deserve a fight until he makes major changes.
 
He said he will quit when fight goes to the decison so
 
100% agreed.

And check out some of BB’s YouTube videos, he’s very humble and down to earth.
 
He did what he could with what he had. He's the only one who fucking did anything. Has to suck for someone capable of so much entertaining violence but he doesn't have anything to feel bad about.

Is he really vegan/plant based? I think I'm going to whip up some seitan ribs and drive down to Houston for some vegan BBQ with him.
 
Seems like his back is continuing to give him problems. Take It from someone who deals with these same problems. It sucks. Just had to pop a couple flexiril just now.
 
He should've stayed off social media for a month before that fight. He always thinks about what's gonna happen after the fight whiles he's fighting. Therefore he probably was thinking I ain't getting an uppercut and watching the highlight over

Man Ngannou fucking stood in front of him and did nothing.

NOTHING.

Black beast at least his back problem which was affecting him... He still tried.. Barely but he did.
 
I don't even know what fight people were watching..he gave more than enough offense for me to be satisfied with his half...Francis didn't come to dance at all, he didn't give Derrick anything to work with..the only other thing he could have done was bite down on his mouthpiece and march into a knock-out and I don't blame him for not giving it to Francis..for God's sake the man threw two switch kicks with a bad back
 
Ngannou was literally at Kalib Starnes' level this fight. He only committed to maybe 4 strikes in the entire fight, all in the last round.
 
Lewis clearly won round 1 against someone who threw basically zero real strikes in the round.

From that point on, it's hard to blame him. Hard to fight a guy who doesn't want to engage but has massive power. Blame the loser who was behind the entire fight and still did nothing.
 
Lewis had more offense than Francis. It wasnt much but he did more clearly. Both were to blame but its mostly on the guy who did even less
 
Was impressed with his kicks tbh, Ngannou is more to blame Imo.
 
He literally said he doesn't know how to do takedowns. Why should I respect him? In the UFC suppose to be the best fighters in the world and he says he doesn't know how to do takedowns..

I fully agree man. If Ngannou had initiated even 4 more exchanges this fight could have been dramatically different. D Lewis made a fair amount of attempts to get things going.
