It's a good day everyone I'm deadlifting 121kg 5 reps now and my goal in january was to add 20 kg onto my deadlift which was 100kg at the time.

In the past month I've added 6 kg onto my deadlift using the pavel 5x5x5 routine

So, It's going all good I want to push myself to get 140kg however by Christmas.
 
My initial squat goal was to do 5x5 at 275. That took me until February. Then my goal was to squat 365. I did 355 in March or April. Now my goal is 405.
 
Good work. I'm reckon you will hit 140 kg easy by christmas. Do you use chalk, straps, nothing?
 
Nice Job. Don't forget to add it to the PR thread (if you haven't already). I think you should be able to hit 140 by december, no problem.

thanks everyone. I wasn't using straps or chalk just me, the bar and iron lol. I hope to be doing 140 kg 5 reps by december

eventually you should try more sets with lower reps on deads. and please get some chalk.
 
It will allow you to pull without worrying about the weight slipping out of your hands. I sweat like a pig when I DL, so after my warmup sets my soggy grip is a huge factor.

+1 on the chalk. You have no idea how it helps until you try it.
 
but is it not better not using anything, so your grip gets trained to the max plus your skin gets tougher.
