This is the first video I've ever taken myself deadlifting... ugh, I had no idea it was this bad.

Thoughts? Suggestions? I was "deadlifting" 275 before I thought I'd scale down and take a video of myself.

WTF are you doing with your head, man? It's literally never once in the right position for what you're doing.

Stop looking in the mirror (assuming that's what you're staring ahead at during the setup). You have proprioception to orient and coordinate your body throughout the lift and looking in the mirror will only distract you from it.

And stop looking at the fucking floor! It hasn't gone anywhere since you picked the bar up off it!

You seem to be leaning forward as you start to pull up on the bar. You wanna try and sit back and scrape the bar against your shins coming up.

In line with the sitting back more, chest out.

I've seen a lot worse.

IMO, you could flatten your lower back more, pull your shoulder blades together and stick your chest out more during the setup. Then it is a matter of maintaining that and keeping it tight on the way up. You could push through with the hips a lot more strongly once the bar is at your knees. I think it is the bent-over body and comparative lack of hip drive that makes them look a but unfinished at the top. As for the kneck/head, I try to keep mine in a neutral position/angle and maintain that all the way up.

Definitely think your lower back looks a bit too rounded for a large portion of the lift (from start to almost finish).

Not as bad as you think. People have already made good points. Why is it that people feel the need to deadlift in the power rack? Find a corner of the gym without a mirror and drag a bar over there. Leave the power rack open to be used for what is is meant for.

Anyhow, keep up the good work man. A few tweaks here and there and you will be fine.

The biggest issue is your head. Look forward or forward/down and definitely don't look up when you lock the weight out.

+1 to not deadlifting in the rack. Though at one gym that I go to they only have 1 barbell for each rack and no extras so if you take the bar to deadlift there is no bar to use in the rack so it doesn't really matter. Stupid gym.

Thanks for the input guys. I assure you, nobody squats in the squat rack except for me at my gym so sometimes I dealift there. I don't mind blocking out the curl monkeys.:D

Since no one seems to have pointed it out, watch the path your bar travels. You want it to be as straight as possible, for the movement to be as safe and efficient as possible. After the bar passes your knees, it no longer becomes a straight bar path.

Honestly much better than I would imagine from a "form check" - as others have stated the range of motion of your head is confusing. I look corner up from the go to 'help' keep my back straight and my head does not move from that angle.
