I forgot she got dropped right before that.
The four “sisters” of team DATE are back, participating in a new event next month similar to the rules of SEI ZA
Single round moat fight
Open finger gloves
Thirty seconds only on ground, no G&P
1x10 round or 1x5 round
Ring out (10 falls)
also, found clarification of YeJi Lee’s Shooto situation from BoutReview. She does not have Corona, she’s just restricted from traveling to Japan due to travel restrictions on the Japanese side.
There actually have been professional fights with a moat around them in the past?
Welcome here. Yeah, agree with what you're saying about reporting & drama it can use some of both. It's not like we're all performing brain surgery where every action must be precise lol. What got you interested in wmma and mma? Are there any organizations / fighters you particularly enjoy?
Well holy shit that is cool.
Yup. Ganryujima, colloquially known as Moat Fights.
actually i only recently discovered wmma, my friend made me watch shev vs chookagian and it hooked me
honestly i've never thought about women's combat sports except when it came up as a topic of gambling. this is probably because there aren't a ton of pipelines for women into combat sports, so people are barely aware of it due to lack of participation in general
I like Invicta and local fighting promotions so I can see people who are coming up, I also watch ONE for atomweight.
A mini photo study in changes in weight. Below is Maryna Moroz during UFC Brasilia fight week, competing at flyweight

I think photo evidence alone is enough to prove that she’s now in the right weight class, her most recent performances just back it up even more. Of course, finding the right coach can’t be denied, either.
Not trying to keep spamming my own vids, but for those of you who haven’t been around as long as I have and don’t know as much about the history as some of us others, my Blast from the Past series is perfect to learn about some of the pioneer fighters, events, and promotions. Here’s my latest edition:
Seems like someone is training with an Olympic gold medal wrestler to prepare for her next fight against a wrestler...
Better late then never how she didn't prepare for Roxy to shoot takedowns boggled my mind.
That really is a blast from the past, I forgot all about her but looking at the thumbnail I remember her from a reality show/docu series back in the day maybe, think it featured her and perhaps her husband or trainer.
Final three fights added to DEEP JEWELS 29
KING Reina vs Super Benkei(?) 3x3 DJKick match -63kg
Atomweight: Hikaru Aono (5-3) vs Tomoko Hida (0-1)
Atomweight: Sakura Mori (2-0) vs Mayu Kawanishi (debut)
Given her answer to my question I think I was right that if the fight card would not have been canceled Miranda would have fought Ashlee.
This pic is...
I thought it was one of those 'aging app' pics for a moment and I was trying to figure out which fighters had been used to make look like retirees
