thats true but suspensions are not an exact science, they're open to change. often shortened if they're cleared by a doctor earlier

Hey, don't forget Hannah Roidy! :) (I thought you were referring her since the tweet didn't load initially).

I forgot M-Rod was a contender series fighter because she's been doing well.

This fight could be like Rodriguez vs Calvillo in reverse - Gadelha getting an early takedown, then Rodriguez taking over in the later rounds.
Since Gadelha is less lethal on the mat then Calvillo that first round may only be 10-9 so Rod may go on and get the W rather than just another draw (though she was 10-8'd by Randa Markos in the first round of their fight...)

This could also show us more or less what Grasso vs Gadelha would have looked like.

Fight Night medical suspensions are a joke, Val could pay any doctor tomorrow to reevaluate and clear her to fight at anytime. They’re usually based on a worst case scenario of an injury.

It'll be interesting to see where/what she does next she had a bad run in the UFC but most of her losses were exciting until kish. Pearl turned her career around in Invicta after she was cut can she do the same? Bellator has a division Pudding could really make a name for herself in, and being European is big plus they're always looking for a 1-2 wmma fights for those cards over there.

The ufc really loves throwing Rodriguez at strong wrestlers dispite her being 0-0-2 against them, if she wins this I suspect next they'll try Suarez vs Rodriguez.

Considering that the UFC had paid Pudilova $100,000 in bonus money, I think the UFC might not have dropped her if she had fought more excitingly against Kish, even if she had still lost. But that fight against Kish was painfully boring.

The link opened to the correct article for me just now.
The big photo at the top of the page, having nothing to do with the article, is just an ad.

Agreed, PuddingLover should be able to reset and get back on the winning track if she signs with Invicta.

I'll say this: I've been absolutely wrong every time I've picked Roxy to lose. If I was a betting man, I'd be broke. She has consistenty proved me wrong. I'm never picking her to lose again (which might be a curse).

Bantamweight prospects Marta Waliczek (4-2-0) and Stephanie Egger (4-1-0) will fight next month.
Should be an interesting one. Waliczek hasn't fought since getting armbar'd by Stoliarenko back in June.

Interesting corner advice from striking coach Mark Henry in Chookagian's corner after the 1st round. He wanted Katlyn to counter the counters and follow Val back, and to change the rhythm when pawing with her hands. Which is good advice. If you'd taught her those things and she knew how to do them. Based on her fights, that would be a no. Joanna & Nunes were the only fighters skilled enough to do that against Valentina and even they had only limited success.

Also some interesting notes from Dan Hardy on the fight.

Something I'm curious about and I'm not being gutter either how many female fighters
have been besides Mallory Martin with Ballwash & a few others with Manscaped how
many in Women's MMA have been sponsored by companies that offer male specific
    services or products.
