Same. Ben is a monster, but he landed one bomb counter on the old version of Reem who was nonstop aggression, and caught the HW with the worst ground game in the division in a sub after an even stand up fight.

Barnett's ringcraft is much better, Browne fight excluded he is not an easy man to put away, and is technically better both standing and on the mat. I'm done counting Ben out, but I have a much harder time seeing him win than Barnett.

If I am not misstaken both Overeem and Mitrione was in a small cage. Almost 100% that it was a small cage against Overeem at least.

Do we know the cage size for this one?

Yup forgot all about that too. Think Mitrione was normal cage though. This one vs Barnett is 100% normal cage

Mitrione confirmed that it will be a large cage on the Anik & Florian podcast.

I'm like 99% sure Rothwell/Mitrione was also small cage

So... we know Alcantara has been out wrestled in many of his UFC losses. Jimmie Rivera has been throwing heat so far in his UFC tenure..

He's at about a 7 inch reach disadvantage but I have no doubts that he can strike with Iuri but I was just wondering how do you see Iuri's guard stacking up with Rivera's top game, or ability to get the fight to the ground if it gets there?

I've seen bits of pieces of Rivera's pre-UFC career on youtube but I haven't gotten too much out of it and I never really followed his career until he was signed so I guess I've been sleeping on him for a while.

Opinion's on the match up and at what price would Rivera be? I was thinking Rivera would open up between -175/-200?

I don't think alcantara can catch him fr bottom to address that. Also don't forget how much he slows down in fights...Rivera doesn't seem to at all

I hope Rivera is cheaper than that... I've been sooo impressed by him so far in the ufc.

Think alcantara is on the decline as well

Made a pretty big bet, really believe in Rivera. Great chin, good wrestling and a lot of power. Alcantara is getting old and didn't really impress in his last one.

Any reads on who the better wrestler/striker will be between Levan Mak vs Damon Jackson?

Damon is "the leech" so he'll obviously try to attach himself to Levan in anyway but Levan is a good wrestler himself. But if their wrestling cancels out I'm not sure who has the striking edge. Opinions?

Thoughts on Alexander Yakovlev's ability to outwrestle George Sullivan? Sullivan has actually faced a bunch of wrestlers in his career and he's been able to sprawl and brawl and win against a few. But leaning Yakovlev because he was able to put old Maynard on his back.

jackson is a drag-you-down type of guy, and he's really good if he can get on top, but i think he'll have a hard time getting mak down. i think makashvili is the better mma wrestler..

think yakovlev will struggle to get sullivan down while sullivan is fresh. might be able to later in the fight, but sullivan is definitely gonna be the bigger/stronger guy

thx to a certain non-US citizen friend'o mine, i got some on rivera +100 vs alcantara.. freakin love this spot. i think rivera should absolutely be favored. sooo impressed by his two ufc fights. especially the munhoz one. alcantara is on the decline, imo, too. and we know he gasses like mad.

Thanks for the Rivera leans guys. Hammered the shit out of it on Unibet at +100/2.0 and got limited. Still -111 tho, but I already got like 5 units on it now.
