yeah this will kick the mma scene off in the UK i think the whole event was promoted soundly and went off without a hitch even people who think this sport is brutal will watch that event and see the control the refs have and how quickly the fights are stopped once it is shown that one can no longer win the same cant be said about boxing
With the sorry state that British boxing is in at the moment (I.E. Harrison being a boring, lazy, untalented, arogent, cheating MF) i think the MMA is poised perfectly to take control. next time crippler we will be there and i wont just bring my brother with me, maybe a friend who i will convert in the coming months. it was nice speaking to everyone for the brief tiem that i was there and everyone was great. the matches were great and everyone got cheered except for brief moments of stupidity like raising the brazilian flag when you know brazil just beat england in football . personally i liked the zikic match- back and forth action, had the crowd on edge, weir for the beautiful ko and then freeman demolishing mir and then genki just being amazing with everything and his class with after fight entertainment and everything. lowpoint was babalu beating elvid and i didnt really enjoy haseman as a punchbag but i guess he was a late replacement. great day cut down by parental oppression
this is my brother with chuck liddel, being the awkward git i am and with me trying to hold my lips in and not look like some gormless ape and did the exact opposite. Being in a car for 4 hours does not help the situation, i think i looked like an office wroker just recovering after bolting down i.e lookign sweaty and tired with badly dried gelled (first time in months) hair. anyway due to traffic we only got this ne cause chuck was outside talkign to fans and just being a great guy, tito was also good but he was giving autographs in the arena and being on the third tier was impossible to get down in time cause the queue filled up so quickly.
