Predictions from Tito Ortiz, Eddie Hearn, Atlas, Ward, Danny, Loma etc

I'm a Pac fan, I hate Broner with a passion and I think he's way overrated, but I think Manny may be ripe for the picking.

*sigh*

Maybe, 40 is very old. Broner has been training with Kevin Cunningham and Tank Davis for the last month now;.

I just don't see it. I saw someone bring up Broner's "heart" because of the Maidana fight, and I agree he showed a ton of heart throughout that fight. But I think he lost it the moment they read Maidana's name at the end of the night. From then on he's turned in a handful of uninspired performances, sometimes against guys he shouldn't have problems with like Granados. It seems to me that once he gets in the ring, he has his eyes set on the money and isn't going to do anything to jeopardize his check-signing hand. His last two marquee fights he had nothing, except for one bit of excitement at the end of the Porter fight. And despite having a "great" training camp, he phoned in the Garcia bout.

I've got to ask myself what has Broner done to even get this fight, let alone let me think he can win it. Nothing is what I come up with.

I do agree with everything you say about Broner. I just think Manny struggled with Horn, who is nothing much besides a pub brawler, and he beat Matthysse because Lucas was just a fucking corpse. Even if Broner is a disapointing machine, basically screwing up on any big night, he is a boxer, and he may have what it takes to beat 40 yrs old Manny. I want to make it perfectly clear that I do hate this thought. But I'm afraid hating it won't be enough to prevent it from happening.

Broner is nice he def got hands, but Pacman got this fight.

Manny looks like he's having problems establishing his jab in sparring. It's only a few clips so who knows how it's go as a whole, but it looks like that short left-hook counter might be a really good tool for Broner. Good thing, too, because it's about the only one he shows anymore.

Your assertions are my worst nightmare. I pray if Manny loses by ass-whooping, it ain’t Broner.

Pacquiao still seems stylistically like a bad matchup for Broner, even at age 40. Broner sucks and I don't think he'll do anything to push Pacquiao outside of his comfort zone. Pacquiao to win a comfortable decision wherein Broner does his shitty Mayweather impression for the first 10 rounds, loses those rounds, and then does a Maidana impression for the last 2, and actually looks decent, but it's too little too late.

Broner is a shell of what might have been, but Pac is into that stage of his career where he will get old in there one night and Broner is still not a complete joke in there by any means.

I like the match-up, myself.

Thread needs a "who wins?" poll. Can a mod hook that up?

I mean he was a complete joke against Garcia. For 11 rounds against Porter as well.

He looked half-decent in spots against Vargas, and Vargas was reasonably competitive with likely a better version of Pacquiao. Broner is a big enough idiot to not capitalize on Manny being shot, but I wouldn't be shocked to see a competitive fight.
