also, concerning Nash's MVP seasons, peep the WS/48 numbers. Not only was Nash not even close to leading the league (8th), he didn't even lead his own team, Amare Stoudamire did w/ an impressive .243

His D is SO BAD, he wasn't in the top 20 for BPM either season, despite being top 15 OBPM each season. Marion was top 15 each year tho

Curry was second in BPM his first MVP, 1st last year. Durant was 2nd. Bern was first, like every year even when he didn't win usually. Shit, even Derrick Rose (whom we all malign as a bad pick) was 4th. Chuckster Kobe was 6th. Dirk was 5th that year, etc....
Nash is literally the only modern MVP that doesn't fit in the BPM or WS/48 mold
