LMAO. Nobody plays defense anymore. The entire game is based on who can chuck up the most 3's in the quickest possible manner. Truly a disgusting state of affairs for the beautiful game. Hasn't been worse than this in decades.

It is a pretty bleh era. Rivals the early 2000s as the most irrelevant era in NBA history

00s was the GOAT era LMAO. Best teams, best coaching, best players.

90s was -BY FAR- the worst modern era. It's not even close LOL.

lmao just look at the league averages during the early 2000s. Truly embarrassing stuff on every level

wrong thread LMAO

Steph is having a terrible year by his standards and its still better that Lowrys career year

A terrible year by Steph's standards would be 15/5/3, 26 games played

In other words, 2012 lmao

Even that year his averages were better than Lowrys this year aside from points

And assists

And rebunds

And efficiency

Steph has him beat in turnovers tho. 2.5 to/gm for Steph in 2012 to 3.0 for Lowry this season

Dream doesn't watch games other than GSW, that much is clear. Certainly doesn't concern himself with facts, stats and all that nonsense

he's once again failing to lead his teams in assists, despite being PG and having the highest Usage on the team (by .01 over Durant, but still)

curry also has a negative DBPM, which causes his overall BPM to fall short of Durants despite having a better OBPM

Draymond and Durant both have higher VORPs and BPMs

also, concerning Nash's MVP seasons, peep the WS/48 numbers. Not only was Nash not even close to leading the league (8th), he didn't even lead his own team, Amare Stoudamire did w/ an impressive .243

The next year, his second MVP he was 10th, and again second on his team behind Marion hahahaha

His D is SO BAD, he wasn't in the top 20 for BPM either season, despite being top 15 OBPM each season. Marion was top 15 each year tho

edit: I realize they didn't use these metrics in the mid 2000s, but still to not be in the top 20 of BPM and win MVP? Twice?
Curry was second in BPM his first MVP, 1st last year. Durant was 2nd. Bern was first, like every year even when he didn't win usually. Shit, even Derrick Rose (whom we all malign as a bad pick) was 4th. Chuckster Kobe was 6th. Dirk was 5th that year, etc....

Nash is literally the only modern MVP that doesn't fit in the BPM or WS/48 mold

Whatever stats you want to pull Gunt... Nash arrived, Suns won games, Prior to that, they sucked.

And the 29 win 03-04 Suns were fairly stacked. Marbury, Marion, 2nd year Amare, Penny, McDyess... they fuckin' sucked.

Nash arrives... 62 wins.

Yeah same shit for dallas. Trash Nash leaves, KIDD the stud arrives. DALLAS wins the title. Suns win best season stats but no title. LMFAO!

That was like 6 seasons later shitcat... stfu, Kidd was trash by then.

I think it also speaks to how much Starbury sucked

1999 Wolves with Starbury: 25-25
2000 Wolves without Starbury: 50-32

2001 Nuts with Starbury: 26-56
2002 Nuts without Starbury: 52-30, made Finals

I mean that's all fine and dandy, hes the only MVP I can even think of that scored under 20 PPG, maybe some can from the heyday

Both Dirk and Duncan deserved it over him, by far, and their teams won 58 and 59 games respectively, it's not their fault they didn't suck the year before

same w/ the next season where the Suns won 58 and the Spurs/Mavs both won 60+

Well I guess that speaks to how much China sucks.

Starbury literally has his own statue and museum over there...
