Alright, so now that I'm more situated in Vegas I'm back in the loop.

So I'm sure any of you "I don't really NEED this" guys who have been to GNC recently have tried Nasutra. It's a dick-hard pill that has an anaolog ingredient of viagra (in the same way Red Yest Rice has an analog of statin drugs). It works, it's cheap when compared to pharmaceuticals, it's reputation is astounding.

And the FDA is about to ban it.

So get it while the gettin' is good. GNC is already pulling it from their shelves.

http://www.nasutraonline.com/

Also, very recently the Federal Court of Appeals re-instated the Ephedra ban. So that's that. You CANNOT fight the Empire. ANY dose of ephedra is now illegal again. No more scrutiny.

You know what this means. You online shoppers, keep your eyes peeled for DEA controlled-deliveries. That's how they're busting anabolic users.

so....out of interest....are they still going ahead with the banning of this?

*whistles*

^^LOL

Btw, kick-ass thread, keep it up, KK.

Apparently it's in litigation. Now this sort of ban has been overruled before when the pharmaceutical Industry attempted to have Red Yeast Rice banned because of it's effectiveness against cholesterol and that it's an analog of the statin drugs. That didn't fly.

However, when Stamina RX was very popular they WERE banned for containing an analog of Viagra. So it's all in how some Judge sees it.

I know I'm coming in late....but I was in the military and I've been piss tested about a dozen times. It's always random testing unless you get caught with something. They test in lots (according to a nurse who's groin I used to frequent). That means they take a days worth of samples, pile it together and then test it for whatever they feel like testing it for. Typically weed, but I'm sure it depends on location and what drugs are readily available. My best friend used to wake and bake before he got out....he was tested 3 times in a one week span. That means, after the big lot came back positive, they called everyone back and RE-tested individually to see who the stoner was. He got lucky.

The US Gov may not be everyone's idea of perfection, but as a former GI, I find it VERY hard to believe that they would EVER test for fucking creatine.

I don't know the Military's testing procedures but I do know that in-reference to drug tests elevated creatine levels in the body are farily easy to determine. A lot of the teast that are sold for cleansing are scrupulous because of that, they use creatine and testers sometimes will re-test a person based on elevated creatine levels.

But I do know the Military is currently actively discouraging the use of such supplements on a general level from the feedback of Soldiers who shop both in the stores I came from in Flrodia and the one here in Vegas.

I thought you could still buy Stamina RX

Its not that I need any of this stuff....my social life is nil and will be for a long while yet, but hey, when the opportunity arises, I want to know I can find something to make the most out of it :D

Uh huh. And some guys want to make the most of their "me" time. lol

You can still buy Stamina Rx, but it's a far inferior version. They had to remove the key ingredient that made it popular.

I'd have to say although selfish, I'd rather share in that particular aspect of my life :D

Thats a bit shit about the Stamina Rx though.
If it comes to it I'll have to stock up on the Nasutra, which are like 1/10 the price of viagra (looking around the internet that I do, for research purposes of course)

You know, I've always thought that the second best decision I ever made was joining the military and that the BEST decision I ever made was getting the fuck out.

Thank you for confirming KK.

Well, I sympathize with the Military as a group because they're just succombing to social bureaucracy. We want Soldiers who can fight on-end, but we won't let them do what it takes to be able to do so. We don't want them conditioned, we don't want them taking things that will build strength, all because of the culture of fear and puritanical thinking we have. The policies implimented on the Military by the Government are a direct reflection of our most blatant hypocrisies.

Lipitor works but one of it's side-effects is severe muscle cramping. Red Yeast Rice does the EXACT same thing as Lipitor for much less money and minus the cramping. It's so effective you cannot take the two at the same time because they'll cancel each-other out. Now I'm not saying Red Yeast Rice should replace Lipitor, because I'm not AGAINST Pharmaceuticals entirely, I just think people should be given both options.

In-terms of the cardiologists...it's true specialists aren't as much so on the big-phrma take, but they do get kick-backs from what I know. My Aunt worked in an office with a cardiologist and a gastro-enterologist and she said on random days week-to-week they'd have some moop walk in in a business suit with a box of bottles and offer to buy the whole office lobster lunches if they'd be willing to distribute such and such a new medication. She also told me she could get basically whatever kind of medication I need at work for free. If those aren't incentives to push pharmaceuticals I don't know what are. What's killing me about all this is how many of these Companies are coming from the Private Sector and not from the Health Care field. Medical Care for Profit is just bad the way I see it.

My Dr. wont prescibe lipitor because he said it was harsh and the liver and on muscle tissue and reccomends Omacor instead which is bascially fish oil. With Red Yeast Rice isn't it reccomend to take CoQ10 along with it?

With Red Yeast Rice isn't it reccomend to take CoQ10 along with it?

Yes. Because that's the enzyme that gets depleted by Red Yeast Rice.

And RYR is as effective as Lipitor, just without all the nasty side-effects. In fact if you were to take both at the same time they'd cancel each other out.

Hey guys, I'm nore moreso in the circle of information. So here ya go:

- Xyience is doing BAD. They've reportedly not been paying encapsulers, investors, and vendors. But it's not JUST because of the deal they made with GNC like I initially was given the impression. Apparently their CEO is a crook. Under Federal Ivnestigation, over 2 million dollars in lawsuits in his last Company, and that the deal with the UFC can be attributed to that his wife went to school with Dana White. END OF STORY, not because they're a good Company.

Check this out. Some people that worked for them told me some interesting things about how they cut corners:

1) The Xytamins labels are wrong. They don't contain half the shit on the labels.

2) When NOX-CG3 first came out it was little more than sugar water.

3) They sent a whole batch of the Fat-burner to some show where bottles were given away. That batch of over 30,000 units had BACTERIA in them. Xyience called up the promoters and asked if they had already been distributed. They had been, and Xyience just says "okay, bye". Not recalling the tainted bottles. HA!

This on top of not paying employees, not paying vendors, etc. This Company will probably be tanking at any moment.

- Twinlab is getting out of Sports Nutrition and focusing more on their lines of vitamins. Apparently they've lost so much in their Sports lines. So they're just 86'ing the whole thing. So get your Twinlab stuff now and stock up if you use any of it.

*****IMPORTANT:

- Ephedra is BANNED. NOWHERE is it legal anymore. As of August 17th the Federal 10th District Court of Appeals in Colorado upheld the initial FDA ruling, overturning the Circuit Court in Utah. IT IS ILLEGAL. That's ILLEGAL...I don't give a fuck what you heard, it's NOT LEGAL, and it never will be for at least a long long time.

Yes it sucks, but it's true.

- On the flipside, some good news. Patrick Arnold only got 3 months in Club Fed for his prosecution as the mad-scientist behind BALCO. HA HA HA!! So we Americans blew millions of tax dollars (or allowed our ever-vigilant Congress to do so), so a motherfucker can get 3 fuckin' months for killing and ruining and endangering the good names of Athletes everywhere, and of course, the children.

Hats off to Rick Collins.

But what this means is Congress isn't infallable. Rick argued circles around them. And it also means we'll have a mind like Patrick Arnold back where he belongs, in a lab, cooking up better LEGAL supplements for all of us.

It seemed like one the biggest reasons some of these supplements got banned or questioned was because the FDA would not even acknowledge or regulate them.
It was also pointed out that companies who were putting them on shelves were'nt putting the right dosage in the capsules.
They especially pointed this out with Ephedrine.
I can see how having alot more than the reccomended dose in a capsule can be harmful...so the obvious solution is having then FDA regulate it like they do most multi-billion dollar drug companies.

I might be wrong on this, but it seems like the FDA won't give most herbs and supplements the time of day.

Because if they did, PhRMA would stand to lose an assload of money.

Ephedra was banned because of the "war" on Methamphetamines. Nothing more. And the Government conducted NO studies, instead just reviewed studies and nit-picked every detail they could to blab into a Judge's ear until the Judge was like "OKAY FINE, SHUT UP!!"

But this is all about cash. Period. Which is why Orlistat, a weight-loss percription drug that is KNOWN to hurt people is still available.

ok i dont know if this is the right thread to this in, but i just finished up writing something for school and I wanted to comment on something.

Someone noted that Patrick Arnold only recieved 3 months for his role w/ Balco. MILLIONS OF TAX DOLLARS FOR 3 MONTHS.

A couple of months ago, Jason Grimsley, a journerman relief pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks, had his house raided by dozens of Federal Agents.

Now..... we are at war. we "can not afford" to check everything that is comming into our ports, the border patrol is under funded, there are starving KIDS in Ameirca..... so I have to pose this ???

Is spending allllllll this money to see if a terrible relief pitchers from the Diamondbacks is doing steroids worth it??? To send some guy to jail for 3months? To spend alllll the money they are spending to investigate steroids in baseball? IS IT REALLY WORTH IT IN LIGHT OF ALL THESE PROBLEMS??? I really dont think so.

Soldiers in Iraq do not have appropriate body armor, but HEY lets spend MILLIONS to see if Clemens is doing what a shit load of guys are doing at the gym anyway.....
GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK.

rant over.

This is the right thread. But dude, this is how our current system works. You don't really think it costs that much money to hold these (Salem Witch) Trials do you?

Of course not.

But if they plan and budget millions of dollars on "Steroid enforcement" and "supplement regulation" then attach a slogan to it (Save The Kids!), then dumbass people pay right up.

All that money is sitting in pockets, and the rich get richer.

Not to mention NO athlete is currently sitting in jail or is ever going to really. Not PRISON, if anything 3 months at Club Fed, just like Arnold. That's the detail that lets you know the whole thing is a sham. Palmiero is free. WHY!?!?!? He lied right through his moustache to Congress. But average gym-rats are going to jail for controlled deliveries, ordering shit online. Imprisoning the very people funding the little fiasco.

well i was bored and looked at the nasutra site

looks like that is discontinued now *sobs because he never got to try it*

Look for a wholesale site that has it in-stock.

It hasn't been banned yet, but they are re-formulating it. However, there should be sites that have the "old formula" still available.

Thanks for the update, KK.

First, I'd like to say that I think Xyience is overpriced garbage (like most "knowledgeable" people on this board). Even though, I can't put 100% faith in what some Xyience employees told you. People I work with tell me shit about our company every day. More than not, they don't have any idea what they're talking about. My point is the rumors circulate, get exaggerated, and build off of each other. Maybe they're true, maybe they're not. Being an employee doesn't give them credibility (assuming they aren't at the top).

Although I don't work anywhere close to the supplement industry (automotive here), I can tell you that our vendors won't supply for very long when the checks stop coming.

In no way am I arguing with you on Xyience's posistion... just pointing out that rumors can get crazy.

There's a difference here, I'll elaborate:

1) It's not just one or two employees. It's people from different branches in the Company. People who work for shipping, people who work for sales, a lot of whom don't know each other.

2) One of their encapsullators contacted the owner of our store trying to sell us bottles of Xyience pill-products. Why? Because they didn't pay him and he was stuck with all these Xyience pills that he needed to get rid of. He was offering them for RIDICULOUS prices. The owner of my store knows the guy, he's not dishonest.

3) The Federal Investigations and Lawsuits, those are easily corroborated. Court documents are a matter of Public Record. If one knows where to look, they can be found.

4) About twice per month or so we get random people in our store with worried looks on their faces. They always ask "So...how is that Xyeince stuff selling?" They ask this because they invested in the Product. They never BUY any of it, and they do buy other supplements. They just ask about it, look worried, nod, and leave.

5) The deal they made with GNC going sour is known throughout OUR Company, and is the reason there are other Companies who won't do business with Corproate GNC anymore which led to the GNC Franchisees creating a system where they can buy from those Companies, Franchise only purchasing.

6) They laid off their whole sales staff. Now being behind on rent for an office is one thing, but when you make THAT dramatic of a cut, the Company is in trouble.

All of these things are just too much coincidence. Pair that off with the fact that the ONLY two things that Xyience sells a lot of anymore is their evergy drinks and bars. No one else is interested in or asks about anything else specific.
