Current lifts and routine 21/10/2010

Name: SportsScience.

Weight 75kg = 165lbs

I do my workouts a little bit differently than others and i will be happy to listen to your points of view on this.

Heavy days: I work out with a dumbell maxed out at 27.3kg = 60lb and a barbell maxed out at 55kg = 121lb.

Light days: I work out with a dumbell with 5kg = 11lb and a barbell with 25kg = 55lb.

Going as fast and as hard as i can for 45 minutes to 60 minutes with minimal rest unless required. Followed by a 90 minute class.

It saves time on thinking and working out as you can just move from workout to workout increasing weight when you feel you are up to it.

Monday: Heavy followed by soft sparring. Wednesday: Light followed by technique. Friday: Heavy followed by hard sparring.

Last night was my light training day.

5kg dumbell

25kg barbell

1 hour of weights followed by and hour and a half of sparing.
 
I don't get it, what exactly do you do with these weights?
