Oculus Story Studio First VR Movie Featuring Henry The Hedgehog

The team behind some Pixar movies such as Monsters are working on Oculus Story Studio's first effort. This is largely due to the backing of Facebook that this work has happened. It fully immersive and realtime rendering so you will need a PC with an Intel i5 or i7 with at least an Nvidia 970 GPU with Windows 10 for Oculus Consumer addition VR. Rumor that they are working with HP and Dell to deliver fully configured PC's with Oculus consumer rifts included in the package. They will be also selling the consumer rift in stores also price has not been made official but expect it to be around 450 dollars.

Oculus admits they wanted to make sure the quality has to be the highest of all the VR offerings that they are tied to so the specs require serious hardware. The average costs for the system and the Rift works out to around 1,500 dollars not cheap. That being said it's really exciting first effort and looks fantastic the animation and the concept.
